Holy mother of shit

A month and a half passed by with no incidence. We all trained as hard as we could and we were ready for war. Well, at least I hope we were. Ty said that all we need to do now is wait for the portal to the other realm to open up so that we can fly through. I was waiting in the main sitting area of the care centre so that I can have my final fitting for my armour. Gavin came out with his suit and gave me a smile.

“It’s all getting so real now,” he said holding his things tight to him.

“I know, it cant be long before the war will start. It’s been to quiet the past while for something big not to come,” I said.

“I think we will win this,” he said.

“I think we have a strong chance too, where ready,” I said.

“Alex, please come in,” the nurse said.

“Ill see you at supper,” I said.

Gavin gave me another quick smile and nod before heading out.

“Now please put the first layer on,” the nurse said,

I stripped down to my underwear and looked at myself in the mirror. I wasn't extremely tiny like I was when I first got here. Ive gained weight, but muscle weight. I was now more happy with my body now that I wasn't so thin. 

“Now this is a special material made just for you. Its extremely heat resistant so it can withstand fire,” she said.

“So I can walk through fire without it catching?” I asked.

“Yes, of course it can burn after an amount of time. Nothing is exactly forever fireproof, so try not to stay in it for extreme amounts of time,” she said. “Next is the amour plates that will cover your chest. Its extremely lightweight and easy to move in, so you don't need to worry about it being in the way to much. Also I have a metal archery arm guard that will help you store electricity for your attacks. Thin and light weight again so it wont weigh you down.”

“This is all perfect,” I said. “And comfortable.”

“Yes, well it all looks good on you, I say you will be all set to go,” she said standing away from me and giving me a smile.

A few seconds later the earth shook beneath us and the building crumbled a bit.

“What the hell was that?” I asked as I steadied myself.

Then came the screeches. I heard a huge bang in the distance and the earth shook again.

“Get to safety,” I yelled at the nurse as I tightened everything on me.

“Alex here, Ty ordered this especially for you, a bow made out of dragon bone. Its extremely light and unbreakable,” she said as she tossed it to me.

I caught it and look at the beautiful craftsmanship of it. Then another explosion happened but on this building. The roof came crashing down on top of me and the nurse. There was so much wood and stone on top of us that it was hard to move.

As I started pushing things off of me I thought to Azura, whats going on?

Carven attack and theres shifters with them, the portals open and theres hundreds pouring out, we have to move now! She yelled.

Ty told me about Carven's and what they are. They are a vile huge beasts that stop at nothing to kill. They also have fire abilities so my fire power wont help. I pushed the rubble off of me and quickly hurried to the nurses aid. Another explosion happened not to far behind me and I heard loud stomps near me. I Turned around and saw a Carven make its was towards me. Its nostrils flared and smoke came out of them. Its four arms came up as it was about to swipe towards me but Albinia Gavin's large white dragon used its ice breath on it. The Carven screamed and started to steam up. Flames ignited over its body and it attacked Albinia. She spread her wings and climbed into the air with the beast withheld in her grasp. I put my attention back on the nurse as I searched for her. I saw her hand sticking out under the rubble, so I moved as quickly and carefully as possible. But when I got to her it was to late. There was a huge gash in her head and her eyes left open and lifeless. I saw my bow next to her so I grabbed it and shut her eyes. I filled with anger as I ran towards the archery station. I ran as fast as I could dodging all the balls of fire and stone as they were hearled at me. In the corner of my eye I could see a rock or fire coming straight at me. So I swiftly turned towards it and thrusted my fist towards it. When it came in contact with the rock it exploded into pieces around me. My knuckles had huge gashes in them but started to heal right in front of my eyes. I continued running and grabbed my arrows and filled my bag. I grabbed an arrow and aimed it at a huge wolf that was attacking Dave about 500 feet away. The good things about being an ultimate rider is my enhanced vision, strength and my ability to never miss my target. I released the arrow and it shot right through the wolfs head causing it to collapse on top of Dave. Kadir quickly came to his rescue and swiftly pulled the huge wolf off of him. I heard loud growls come from behind me to see a huge Carven towering over me and quickly raising his arm to strike me. I tried to evade it but was not swift enough. One of its huge arms came down crashing into my ribs flinging me into the air. Azura caught me and held onto me tight while climbing into the air. I tried catching my breath but it was difficult from the impact.
