Waking up to the smell of bacon, I step out of bed. I walk down the hallway and peer around the corner to see Jordan, only wearing boxers and cooking breakfast. It smelled so great and I was starving, but I didn't want to overwhelm him with me staying for breakfast.
I walk back to the guest room, slide my shoes on and walk back down the hallway. Walking past the kitchen I head towards the front door. I stopped and turned ready to say thank you and goodbye but then I realized.
"Oh shit! I forgot we left your car at the bar. I'll drive you there after you eat breakfast."
"Oh, thank you, here sit down" he gestured to a bar-stool at the island in the kitchen.
He placed down two plates with eggs and bacon.
Surprised, I sat down, staring at Jordan, sitting across from me.
"Wow, I never thought I'd meet you!" He exclaimed.
"Ditto!" I replied happily.
I couldn't believe I was sitting in CaptainSparklez' house, across from him!
"So I heard you were here looking for a house."I nodded with a mouth full of eggs.
"Have you found one yet?"
Swallowing my food I explain that I haven't yet but I feel close. He stared at me for a couple minutes.
"You know I could let you rent out the guest room and you could live here." He stared at me, clearly needing someone to hang out with.
"The rent will be cheap and I won't be annoying." I look at him and laugh.
"Okay, that sounds really nice, thank you." I say, with a wide smile.
After breakfast, Jordan gets dressed and we drive together to the bar. He gets out and gets his car.
Driving back to his house I hum along happily to my Fall Out Boy CD. Now I have a new home to live in and a new friend this is gonna be great.
