About an hour later, my phone starts to ring. I answer it, it's Jordan.
"Oh, hey! What's up?"
"Nothing much, just checking in to see if you were still alive."
"Okay, thanks. Um I might be staying the night... If you don't mind."
"Go ahead. Do whatever you want." He sounded sad, but I brushed it off.
"Thanks. Bye."
I hang up my phone and walk over to Mark.
"Hey, can I stay over?"
"Of course you can." He answers fast.
I curl up next to him and look at his face. He turns towards me and kisses the top of my head. I blush and hide my face in his chest.
Mark turns the TV on and puts on Big Hero 6. We watch the movie for a little while, but I slowly start to doze off. I feel myself being lifted and carried somewhere but I don't wake up.
~time passes~
Hours later, I wake up in what seems to be the guest room. I glance at the clock, which says 10:34 am. Crawling out of the bed I throw on my shoes and start heading downstairs.
Mark is sitting on the couch, passed out. I sit next to him and lean against him, positioning his head against mine. We sit there for a couple minutes, then Mark jumps awake.
"Mornin' Markimoo" I sing
"Morning" he says in a sleepy voice.
He gets up and heads to the kitchen, pulling out two plates for food.
"You don't have to make me anything, I should be going."
He shakes his head.
"Oh come on, you let me stay over, I feel like I'm pestering you." I say as I head towards the front door.
I hear the patter of footsteps behind me and I turn around fast. Mark, not being able to slow down, slams into me, making us both fall to the floor. I start giggling and stand up fast, reaching my hand out to help Mark up.
"Stay for breakfast. Please? Then you can go home."
I sigh and walk towards the kitchen, sitting down. Mark places a plate of English muffins in front of me. We sit and talk for an hour.
"Well, I should get going. Thanks for the great time!" I say with a huge smile on my face.
Mark looks at the floor sadly but then looks at me. When he sees my smile his frown fades, turning into a gigantic smile. I hug him and he offers to walk me to my car.
When we reach my car, I get in slowly, waving goodbye to Mark.
"I'll talk to you later!" He screams over the engine.
"Yup! Maybe we can do a coop video together!"
He nods and slowly starts to head back inside. I pull out of the driveway and drive back home, with a big smile on my face.
