I was wide awake, shaking excitedly, ready to pick up Felix. Already completely dressed, I run over to Jordan's room and slam into the door.

"WAKE UP SLEEPYHEAD! WE GOTTA GO GET FELIX!"

I hear the patting of feet on the ground and Jordan opens the door, his eyes wide and breathing heavy.

"You scared the living shit out of me!"

"Oh... Oops.. Sorry. I'm just so excited to meet Felix!" I giggle.

He smiles and grabs a pair of green shorts and a black shirt and throws them on.

I laugh and walk to the front door.

"Is that all you wear?"

"It's comfy!" He says defensively.

"Ok ok! Sorry!" I walk out the door and head downstairs to the car. Jordan hops in the passenger seat and holds up a sign. Giggling, I read it out loud.

"Welcome Felix! You big goofball."

"You like it?" He says with a proud smile.

I nod and start the car, pulling out of the parking garage and driving through the city.

Pulling into the airports parking lot, we found a spot to park and ran to the front door. We walked around asking where we needed to go to pick Felix up. After following an employee we wait for him, Jordan holding the sign and me, jumping around like a six year old who has just eaten a bucket full of candy.

I get a notification on Twitter. Felix had  posted a picture of him in the plane titled "Just landed!". I squeaked and started shaking excitedly.

"Cas, take deep breaths, you look like you're about to explode. If you keep jumping around you're gonna lose all your energy and won't be able to hang out with Felix as much as you want to."

With that I stopped jumping. I did what he said and took deep breathes, looking frantically for Felix.

A few minutes later I look down at my phone to check the time when I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn slowly and look Felix straight in the eyes. Almost tackling him, I wrap my arms around him tightly. He seemed startled at first but then hugged me back.

"Someone's excited to see me." He chuckles.

"Ha! That's not even half the excitement she's been having for the past week. I told her to calm down so no one gets injured." Jordan glares at me.

I look down and they both laugh.

"Okay let's get going we have to prepare. The house is clean, we just got to get the refreshments."

We all walk to the car. I hop in the drivers seat while Jordan helps Felix pack his luggage in the back. With everyone in the car, I drive to the convenience store where Jordan hops out, buys some sodas and chips and hops back into the car.

On the way home we talk nonstop. To anybody else we probably sounded like a bunch of squirrels chirping by how fast and excited we were talking. We finally get home and help Felix carry his bags into the house.
