The people of the resistance didn't like my arrival, and now I'm tossing Kylo Ren into the equation.

The answer: I'm screwed.

But now that I think about it, they haven't seen his face. Though the all-black will be suspicious, the only ones who would be able to tell are Finn, Rey, and General Leia.

"Help! Help us!" Poe and I kept shouting to see if anyone would help in aiding Kylo. A few people heard us and ran to come help.

"Take him to the medical bay. I'll go alert the general," I ordered. Someone took my place in aiding Kylo while I ran as fast as I could to the center of headquarters. General Leia is usually there with the droids, keeping tabs on everything that's going on. It's my best shot.

My lungs and muscles are burning, screaming at me to stop, but that only makes me want to go faster. What I should've done was left him there. I should've called on my transmitter to get some help away from the base. Instead I brought him to the base and endangered everyone. But it's already been done. I just hope they don't figure out its him. Then they would let him die. I should be happy about that, but I can't be. I'll never be.

She's exactly where she always is, standing at the holotable. I ignore the looks and glances that are aimed at me as I run up to the General.

"General!" Not loud enough.

"General!"

"Y/n, what's the matter?" The weight of the situation suddenly becomes impossibly heavy. Instead of catching my breath, I start to breathe faster. The thoughts keep racing inside my mind, the good and the bad, like Kylo's pull to the dark and light.

What have I done?

I looked straight into her eyes, and I started tearing up. I don't know where it came from or why but it's not going away. There was only one person who could do this to me. And Leia knew.

Her eyes asked everything. But she didn't need to be told a word. She already knew the answer. I nodded my head, just standing there like my feet had been cemented.

"He's here." It was all I had to say. And it was all she needed to hear.

"Show me."

So I did. I lead her through the crowds, which separated into a pathway she could clearly travel through. We didn't slow for a moment, but I went at a pace that she could keep up to (which was surprisingly fast). And it was there at the medical bay that we saw him.

But he wasn't awake.

"Lewis, status report," I ordered one of the medics.

"He's under anesthesia right now. Large burn across his face. Bad laceration in his lower right abdomen. Lost a lot of blood. But he's stable."

"Good, thank you. You may be released," Leia told him. Lewis took his leave and left the three of us alone.

"You know, I always imagined of having my son back home, but never like this." The general whispered. I smiled a little. She noticed my tense state. "You did the right thing, bringing him here."

"Did I? Can we even trust him? After everything he's done?"

"I forgave you, didn't I?"

She had a point. She was the only one who believed in me when I first got here. Without her, I'd probably be dead. I had done terrible things. Now it's like they never even mattered.

"Don't you think everyone deserves a second chance?"

"Do you?"

"If they're worthy for it, I think it's the most valuable thing they'll ever get. It depends on weather he takes it, and what he decides to do with it." Leia looked over at me.
