I shifted in my sleep, I opened my eyes rubbing them Jahlil came in my room doing the dougie and cat daddy, I bust out laughing "My nigga its Santa day" Jahlil whipping, I jumped up from bed and clapped "I know" I smiled shimming, going in my bathroom to use the toilet. "Jingle bells. Jingle bells, barnicole boy smells" I sung wiping myself flushing the toilet after, I washed my hands and brushed my teeth after.
I came out my bathroom and went downstairs seeing my whole family talking laughing opening presents. I smiled "Heeyy family!" I said, they looked at me "Lani!!!! Hey baby cakes" My mom smiled she patted a empty spot for me to sit at, I sat down "Here baby" She sat down tons of presents in front of me. My eyes went wide "Wow!, who got all this for me" I smiled putting a medium sized box on my lap "Some from your uncle and aunt, Genesis, Princess, Anthony, me, your dad, Jahlil and Khalil" She said "Oh my thank you" I kissed her cheeks, and Jahlil that was next to me.
I teared off the wrapper and it was a Jordan box I opened it was some aqua's I smiled "Ayee! These fire I wanted these for the longest" I smiled, "I know so I got em" My mother said cheesing, I giggled and went to the next boxes. It was bags of pink clothes all that stuff, "AYEEEE! IM PINKED OUT" I dabbed, my dad laughed "Look at these fire shits" He handed me the box, I opened the box it was a jersey with my face on it on the back with my age on it with the words 'Killin It' on the side,with the joggers to match just don't have my face on it. I looked up and smirked "See! I told you" My dad dabbed, I bust put laughing and sat the box down.
After I opened all my presents, I thanked them and gave them all their presents I had a lot to give them "Awhh shucks she bought me some j's" My mom said smiling at the shoes, I giggled "Yep so me and you to match some day" I put my thumbs up, she winked "Okay girly". "OOOH SHE BOUGHT ME A ROLEX IM DONE WITH LIFE" My dad and brother screamed running out the living room I bust out laughing "Thank you Lani!" My brother picked me up kissing my cheeks I giggled "Your welcome" I got out of his grip "Y'all done a lot for me so I paid back for all y'all did for me" I smiled "Awwh baby we your family we do anything for you" My mom said taking me in for a hug, I hugged her "Love you" I said in her curly bushy hair, "Bitch stop breathing in my ear" She pushed me, I burst out laughing "Sorry" I laughed "You cool it was just tickling me" She giggled and sat back down.
After everyone opened their gifts and stuff more of my family came. I had tons of new clothes shoes pajamas slippers stuffed animals all that stuff I was just a lot. "Lemme get started on the food" My mom said getting up with my aunts and grandma behind following her. Both of my grandmas on each side is here. My mom mother is full Filipino but she can speak English though, she has this beautiful accent I love. My dad mother she black but her great great grandmother and grandfather was Indian, so yeah.
I went in the kitchen to follow them, they gossip a lot so I finally can with them. I sat on the stool I pulled my phone out my pajama pants "So Liyah what's been up with you?" My aunt Flo asked, I smiled "Nothing you know I'm just ready to graduate" I told her and everyone else, she nodded snapping green beans "Hey babygirl want you help yo grandmama out and help cut these yams" My grandmother smiled, I nodded and grabbed some yams and started peeling them and cutting them up "So Kehlani a little birdy told me you dating" My aunts heads shot towards me with wide eyes "Oh shit lemme get my tea" My grandma got up, I bust out laughing
"I don't have no boyfriend" I said putting the yams in the pot, "That's not what someone told me" She smirked "Y'all having sex? If y'all is lemme know so I can pop up with my bible" My grandma cut me off, I laughed and shook my head "Oh no! I'm not having sex I'm still a virgin I'm not ready for that uhh no" I shook my head "That's my baby" She smiled, "So Liyah are talking to any young man" My other grandma asked smirking "Well, If you put it like that yeah" I smirked "Oh yahahasshh!" My aunts yelled "What's his name?". "Demitrius" "But he like to be called Mechie" I smiled "What? Menhie? Like the ice cream place....What da' hell is going on with this world" Flo said making a face, while shaking her head "No. Mechie....M-E-C-H-I-E" I spelled it out for her "Oooh okay is he cute?" She asked I nodded my head "Very. Cute don't even describe him". "Well damn. Slide that phone over here then" My aunt's all said, I giggled and went to a gallery and showed them a picture of him
