*Lunch Bell*

Chaster walked down the long hallway towards her beige locker. Her sneakers squeaked down the quiet hallway since everyone was at lunch and she had asked to go her locker to put her gym clothes inside to take home.

"22..40..0" she quickly turned the locker dial and tried to jiggle it but it didn't budge.

"Stupid ass locker." Chaster cursed to herself as she heard another pair of footsteps, but they were headed her way. "Need help damsel in distress?"

She turned to find Grayson standing there. 

She looked at him up and down and turned the opposite way still fidgeting with her locker.

"Here".

He slightly pushed her aside and turned her dial to all three numbers successfully popping it open. 

"Um...okay. So no thank you?"

"You really think I'm gonna say thank you to a guy who wants to act like he's the shit in front of his lil posse?" I said reapplying my lipgloss and non-dramatically flipping my hair in his direction.

"Hey, cool it. You don't need to catch an attitude. I just wanted a thank you-"

"Get the fuck out of my face." 

I slammed my locker and grabbed my bag, headed back to lunch. 

* Time passes * 

I ate my cheeseburger in my next class during lunch time, going on Snapchat and Twitter to pass time. 

"How's your first day?" 

Another thing was talking to me.

I looked up, facing one of Songray's (I think that's his name) posse members. 

This one looked more pleasant. I actually noticed he was one of the guys who didn't speak or cat call me. 

"Hey, I'm Masai. Sorry about G earlier. He can be a huge ass when he gets hype."

He was a dark caramel, with a nappy top and a cute fade, with a small diamond nose piercing and pigmented, plump lips with a little vaseline. He was wearing Adidas sweats with a yellow hoodie with the black and yellow AJ 1's. 

"What's your name shawty, you don't talk a lot do you ma?"

That nickname made me heat up.

"I'm Chaster." I stated quietly.

"That's coo. I gotta go though, add me on snap though."

He gave me his snap and he left. I felt weird.

I think it was just cause he was being nice, I won't put too much thought into it.
