When Simon walks into the arena, Cheryl stands up and heads towards him.

"We have a problem, Diana lost her voice." One Direction stand behind Simon and Zayn looks over at me.

"She has no voice at all?" Simon asks worried. Everyone keeps glancing over at me and I start to feel overwhelmed by it. It feels like they're judging me even though I know they're not. I stand up from my seat in the arena and head to my dressing room where I can sit alone for a few minutes. I sit with my face in my hands as my elbows rest on my knees. The door opens two minutes later and when I look up its Zayn.

"I get like this too, the room gets too crowded or something becomes too much and I have to go sit somewhere alone so I can calm down and feel okay again." He says quietly, his eyes drift to the white dress hanging on one of the hooks and smiles. "Is that what you're wearing during the finale?"

"Warm drinks are going to be your best friend at the moment, Diana. Sorry was I interrupting something?" Simon asks as he walks in carrying a cup of tea which he hands to me, I shake my head and take a sip of the drink. "Do you have your songs picked out?"

"They're on this list." Zayn fills in, passing Simon the list.

"So the duet with Cheryl will be Say Something, your winners single will be Sober and your first performance will be Warrior. All original songs I'm guessing?" Simon laughs as I nod my head up and down. "How many more songs have you already finished in the time being here?"

"Here." Zayn passes me a small whiteboard and a marker. I uncap the marker and write my answer, holding it up to show Simon.

"27? If they're like the ones you've been singing, you're going to be one hell of a singer/songwriter after this is finished." Simon muses. "Did you and Cheryl record all your songs already?"

I shake my head and stand up, bringing the board and my tea with me. I walk to the piano they have set up on the stage and start to play 'Say Something'. I go through that a couple times before going to find some place to rest and try to regain my voice before tonight.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I pull on the white, floor length dress that has lace covering the bodes and lace sleeves, the bottom is a mermaid skirt and solid fabric. There is a belt tied around my waist and I leave my hair down in curls with a few strands pulled back on each side. When I slip my feet into my white lace heelsThey call me to stage and pass me a mic before sending me on stage as Cheryl goes to introduce me. I see her struggling to talk before she nudges Simon to introduce me.

"Singing an original song, here's Diana with Warrior." Simon smiles to the camera before the lights go down and it's my turn.

"This is a story that I have never told
I gotta get this off my chest to let it go
I need to take back the light inside you stole
You're a criminal
And you steal like you're a pro

All the pain and the truth
I wear like a battle wound
So ashamed, so confused
I was broken and bruised

Now I'm a warrior
Now I've got thicker skin
I'm a warrior
I'm stronger than I've ever been
And my armor, is made of steel, you can't get in
I'm a warrior
And you can never hurt me again

Out of the ashes, I'm burning like a fire
You can save your apologies, you're nothing but a liar
I've got shame, I've got scars
That I will never show
I'm a survivor
In more ways than you know

Cause all the pain and the truth
I wear like a battle wound
So ashamed, so confused
I'm not broken or bruised

'Cause now I'm a warrior
Now I've got thicker skin
I'm a warrior
I'm stronger than I've ever been
And my armor, is made of steel, you can't get in
I'm a warrior
And you can never hurt me
