"Umm is this taken?"

The boy looked up from his book to find a girl just the same age as his, looking at him expectantly. He realized she had just asked him a question. "I'm sorry what did you say?"

She repeated her question. When he said no, she sat down in front of him. They were in Starbucks, sitting on the comfy violet seats near the window. The boy held a book in one hand and a mocha frappe in the other.

"Is that Paper Towns?" The girl asked as she tried to see the cover.

The boy stared at her before responding. She had a (hair length), (h/c) hair and even (e/c) eyes. She wore a (f/c) sweater that said: THIS AIN'T KANSAS. She was smiling ,a friendly smile. Pretty.

"Yes" the boy replied, returning to his book.

"Oh, I absolutely LOVE that book. Q is such an awesome character."
She said in delight. cute.

"Soo, What's your name?" The girl asked when he didn't respond.

"Casper," The boy replied. His face was serious

"Haha very funny" The girl rolled her eyes. She looked at his coffee cup, his name written on it, and raised a brow. "Come on just tell me"

"You first, Stranger."

She straightened up on her seat, clears troat and said "I'm (y/n)"

"Kenneth," The boy replied

"You waiting for someone, Kenneth?" The girl said politely

"No" that was a lie. Kenneth was waiting for his brother Matt. They were supposed to go to SkateRatz and buy some new wheels for his board.

"I'm waiting for my sister/brother (s/n)" You said, "We're going shopping for our Mother's birthday gift."

"What are you getting?" Kenneth asked, genuinely curious

"I don't know yet. Maybe a purse or something valuable" you shrugged

"There are a lot of good stuff down at Vintij," Kenneth suggested. Vintij was an old store that sold vintage everything, from bobble heads to suits."You should try there."

You smiled "Maybe we will" wow, her smile is just WOW

He smiled back then he heard the doors open and saw a young boy/girl looked around until he spotted your's and Kenneth's table. He started coming over

"I think your brother/sister's here," Kenneth said, nodding at your sibling.

"I guess you're right, I better get going" You said, standing up and taking your coffee. "See you around?"

Kenneth looked at you and himself saying "Definitely."

"Bye Kenneth, Nice meeting yaa" You waved goodbye. He smirked at your bubbliness and waved goodbye too. What just happened? He thought to himself

"Who was that?" Matt asked as you and your sibling step out into the street.

"No one" Kenneth answered, picking up his stuff and grabbing his brother's hand. "Come on, the store's closing in an hour"

As they made their way to SkateRatz, Kenneth made a mental note to stop by Vintage on the way home.
