"Here" Kenneth said while handing you your favorite flavor of coffee.

You sniffed then accept his offer "Thanks" taking a sip.

You and your best friend Kenneth were at your room. He went over because he heard the news that you just broke up with your boyfrie- EX boyfriend. And now he's trying his best to comfort you.

"He's such an asshole! Why did I ever fall for him??..." You said in tears, you sniffed "...I tried my best to- to make
the relationship more stronger but-but- UGHH! I'M SO STUPID!" You cried out.

Kenneth rubbed your back "Shh shh shh... (y/n) please stop please, I'm not a fan of you crying over some stupid guy that broke your heart into pieces so please stop" he pleaded.

Kenneth embrace you into a hug while rubbing your back, telling that everythings gonna be alright. It took you a while for you to calm down.

You slowly stopped sobbing but still your heart remains unhealed. You sniffed "Thanks Kenny for your company, I'm super blessed that you're always there when I needed you, and I'm proud that you're my best friend" you smiled.

He smiled "Anytime (y/n), just call me if you needed anything. I'm one call away" he joked

You giggled then let go off his embrace "Your shoulder is wet because of my tears" you lauged

He looked at his shoulder, then smirked "Nahh, it's nothing, it doesn't hurt me anyway" he said. You smiled a little.

You giggled, you looked at the time "It's getting late aren't you going home?" You said in a worried tone.

He laughed "Well, now you've said it I must go. Are you sure you'll be okay?" He asked

"I'm sure, thank you" You said "Then I must go, see you tomorrow okay?" He said

You giggled "Yes, tomorrow...I'll be there"

I was on my way home when someone called me. It's Sean.

"Hey Sean" I greeted

"Yow man, how did it go? Did you confronted her?" He asked

"Well, unfortunately...no" I sadly said

"WHAT?? WHY??!" Sean exclaimed

"This is not the time for telling my feelings for her, she's not ready for another man to come in her life...I'm just gonna give her space and wait a bit longer" I said with hope

"Yeah, because You're in a friendzone for THREE FREAKIN YEARS!" He exclaimed

"It hurts for me of course, but since (y/n) is not ready I'll wait" I said

"Well it's your decision...Gotta go man, Don't forget we have class with Matt tomorrow." He reminded

"Yeah, me and (y/n) will come" I said with full of expectations.

"Ugh, Love birds, Yuck...anyways good luck" he said then hanged up.

I put my phone back in my pocket then looked at (y/n)'s window through her bedroom. I sighed "I'll wait"
