A DANCE WITH DEATH

I woke up to the buzzing sound of my alarm, I was deadly tired but I wanted to get up early for once. I haven't got to see much of the city, however I am more interested in the nature. Luckily it doesn't take that much time to get out of the city. It was a bit chilly but it's the UK so I'm just glad it's isn't raining.

I took some nice shots of the sunrise, the only animals I got in the picture was birds up in the sky, although since I was focusing on the sun, they are barely visible unless you zoom in a lot, then you'd se a few dots. I was here for about 3 hours, I got home about ten minutes to eight. Kylie still hadn't woken up. I couldn't blame her, all she does is read it must be exhausting besides it's summer break you could sleep in as much as you wanted to.

"That's some good looking shots" Kylie said. I hadn't notice when she came in to my room. "Where is that?"

"Just outside London, nothing special" I told her. The picture she saw had been edited very good as well. Looked like something out of Narnia, or you'd get that feeling when you see it.
"I just wanted to inform you that in about 1 hour. We will be leaving to go exploring." I looked at Kylie when she said it. "You're not gonna bring any books?" I asked her. She smiled. "No I'm not. We just gonna see what London has to offer. We've seen this side of London, now it's time to see all of it" She walked out of my room. Probably to go and eat her breakfast. I think that's why I have 1 hour go get ready my self.

"And all I gave you is gone Tumbled like it was thrown
Thought we built a dynasty that heaven couldn't shake
Thought we built a dynasty, like nothing ever made

Thought we built a dynasty forever couldn't break up"

Miia's song Dynasty streamed out of my computer. A very moving and good song, if I can be honest. I love music as much as I do being a photographer. As the music dies, I close my computer and walk out to meet Kylie in the hallway, together we walk out in to London.

We walked everywhere, I'm surprised that I haven't complained yet. I don't like big cities although I can't help myself but feeling amazed.

"You're smiling" Kylie shouted so I could here her in this loud area of London. We're close to London Eye, but far far away from home. Now I mean the apartment, Bradworthy.
"Well, I can't help it" I say. "We really should make friends you know" I add.
"I know, but you know that I'm not good making friends" I look at her, not with any pit nor joy just two big empty eyes.

I remember in 5th grade. I was not popular nor unpopular, however Kylie was for some reason strongly disliked from everyone. I was pretty much her only friend. She's never had lots of friends, and some years were worse than others. I'd say that 5th grade must have been the most horrible year for her. The worst thing is that it wasn't the other children in our class that made that year so terrible for her. We got a new teacher, he was in his early twenties and he was on an internship for one term. This term became a nightmare for Kylie. I get goosebumps just thinking about it.

I didn't say anything and we started to walk home when we realized it was a little bit to late. On our way home we walk by a little kid, he's not that long I guess he's about 10 years old. When we were about to cross the road the little boy screams. I turn my head, and get a glimpse of a big man covered in black. He takes the kid up on his shoulder like if he was a feather. I have no idea what to do, I just stand there. Then I see someone running to him, Kylie. I didn't notice when she left, neither the other guy behind the dumpster. Kylie jumped and kicked the man in his chest, causing him to fall and letting go of the little boy. Kylie tells him to come to me, and he runs as fast as he can. When he gets to me a gunshot echoes throughout the alley. People from all directions are running to me, I leave the kid and a mother of three takes care of him. I run to Kylie, two bigger men runs after the kidnappers and killers. I throw myself to the ground beside Kylie, she's already lost a lot of blood. I put her head on my legs, close to my upper body.
"Why did you do that" I ask her with tears in my eyes. I can't see a thing. I try to blink them away and they stream down my cheek.
"I had to Sam. I couldn't let them take him. He's just a boy" She whispers. Someone calls the ambulance.
"But you're just a girl" I say.

"I'm older" She puts her hand on her side. "I'm gonna die aren't I?" That made me sob even harder. She puts her left hand on my chin.
"I love you Sam" She says and I the last living thing in her eyes slowly fade away.

I died with her. There is no more Kylie, so therefore no more Sam. It's always been Kylie and Sam, now it's just Sam.
