Madison and I got ready for school. We walked downstairs with our stuff and waited to be dropped off.
"Mom hurry up!" I yelled. She rushed out and we went to school. She pulled up and we got out the car. "Stella wait for me here after school." She rolled down the window then drove off.
"I need to find Dylan, meet you at lunch?" I told Madi and we walked our separate ways. I looked everywhere for him and couldn't find him anywhere. Instead I found Ellery. "Ellery! Is Dylan here today?" I rushed over to her.
"Yea he's probably in class already. He looked pretty upset." She informed me. "Okay thanks," I hugged her bye and went into history and saw him sitting down. "Dylan." I sat in my seat. "Yeah?" He said in a tired voice.
I stayed up all night thinking. I do have feelings for Dylan. And I'm not going to hold a grudge on him for telling a lie. "I forgive you." I looked at him and he smiled. "I'm... Im sorry for kissing you yesterday." He looked down trying to hide his red face.
"It's okay. You're a good kisser." I laughed and he laughed too. The bell rang and class started. For the rest of class we worked on the essay. "Stella. Please come up to my desk." Mr. Carol said.
I set my pencil down and walked to his desk. "So your Mom's boyfriend is coming later today at 7:00 so we can discuss your grades." I rolled my eyes and walked away. I sat back down and my pencil wasn't there.
I looked under my desk, in my bag, in my pockets. I looked over to ask Dylan and he was messing around with it in his hands with a smirk plastered on his face. "Give it." I tried to snatch it from him and he pulled back.
"Please." He then passed it to me and I continued writing my rough draft. Class was over and I packed my things and went to my next class.
After going to the first 4 of my classes it was lunch time. I went to my locker to grab my science book. I got to my locker and put in my combo. I opened it up and grabbed my science book and then closed it shut. I turned around seeing a very angry Caleb walking towards me.
"You fucking bitch!" He pressed me up against the lockers and I dropped my science book. "Why would you tell Madison!?" Spit flying all over my face. "Let go of me!" I tried pushing him off. I broke loose and I punched him straight across the face. "Back the fuck up!"
Caleb touched his face and walked towards me with a bloody nose."Hey!" A familiar voice yelled causing Caleb to look over. "Oh look who it is. Dylan Sprayberry to save the day." He laughed. I picked my science book up and went next to Dylan. "Dylan he's twice the size of you." I whispered to him. "He's twice the size of you too." He whispered.
I looked down at his hands that were clenched into fists. He ran up to Caleb and punched him across his face. "Dylan!" I yelled. Caleb picked Dylan up and threw him but Dylan got up and kept fighting.
Two guys pulled them apart and I grabbed Dylan and we walked away. "Dylan what the fuck were you thinking!" I said walking fast. He rubbed his lip which was bleeding. "He deserved it. Did he hurt you?" He stopped walking. "Yes he hit me in the nose when you two were fighting."
"Dylan look at me." I put my hands on his beat up face and turned it to mine. "You look like shit." I spat out. "Thanks I already know that." He rolled his eyes. "Don't you have to be with Madi?" He rudely said. "I'm not leaving you alone! You're coming with me." I interlocked my fingers with his and we went to the cafeteria.
"Oh my god! Dylan babe. What happened?" Hazel ran up to him and I let go of his hand. "I'm fine." He pushed her away. I saw Madison sitting alone crying. I instantly ran over to her. I sat next to her and pulled her into a hug. "It's going to be okay." I rubbed her back as she sobbed on my shoulder.
