The last time round

This mission is no laughing matter part 1

Hey guys I'm back with another story part thing which is definitely longer than last time.

Robin had heard enough of this story and stormed out not wanting to hear the rest. 'How could he be so cold shouldered I mean I know he's always like that but still' Robin wandered as he turns around the corner 'It's weird to think that he and I will be like that. It's like he's a whole different person' he sighed and went straight to the gym because it always seemed to relax him when he was tense.

He took of us cape and put it on the side. He went straight to the punching bag and hit it hard. It swung back slightly but stayed where it was. He tensed up and hit it again and again and again one after the other.

"No Dick you hit it with more power like this" said Bruce as he hit it with an upper arm knocking the punching bag backwards braking the chain as it fell to the ground with a thud.
"Wow" said Dic looking up at him with admiration
"Now you try"
Dic looked at his punching bag with gritted teeth and punched it as hard as he could but it just hung there as if nothing happened. "RRRRAAAAAA" screamed Dick in frustration as he punched the wall instead. This made his hand bleed. He screamed again and was
about to hit the wall again until a firm hand stopped him. "Stop" said Bruce pulling him away from the wall " your gonna hurt yourself"

" I don't care" said Dick as he struggled away from Bruce
"I do"
Dick stopped struggling and went still and just said "  I can't do it. I can't punch a stupid bag"

He hung his head sadly but then he heard him say "you can punch a wall" Dick looked at the hole in the wall were his fist had been.
"That's good" said Bruce looking down at him and then he said " You are strong. You just need to know we're your aiming and were to land the punch" he smiled as Dick looked up at him. "Let's try again"

"Arrrrrrr" yelled Robin as he punched the wall as the bag fell to the ground. He looked at his hand and saw it was bleeding. "How can I be strong if I don't know who you are?" Said Robin out-loud.

Suddenly cold gray hand was wrapping his hand in a bandage. He looked up to see Raven avoiding his face and looking down at what she was doing.
Seconds went by and then she spoke " Night used to do this every day. He said it was easier to punch a wall then it was a bag. However his hands had more damage than the wall." She finished the bandage and looked up at him. "Sometimes the easiest way isn't the best way"
He looked away trying to avoid her as tears streamed down his face. He felt her hands reach up towards his mask as she pressed the right point to release the pressure so it slid of. 

He looked shocked as he looked at her with his baby blue eyes. She smiled sadly an said " please don't cry Dick. It makes me sad to see you like this." He wiped his eyes and put his mask back on. " Crying is a sign of weakness"

"Crying is sign that you are brave to show you care" Raven said sternly at Robin

They heard a knock to see Aqua lad standing in the door way. "Night has a mission for us. He wants us to meet up with him"
"We'll be there" said Raven as she turned to Robin and whispered in his ear "look were your aiming". She turned and left the room to go to the meeting.

After about 10 minutes everyone was there including Robin. He kept glancing at Raven, trying to make eye contact but he had no luck
Night cleared his throat make himself heard and started to explain
" I've been doing some research and there have been reporting of distance at an old ware house" he pointed towards the screen to show an picture of the warehouse. " unfortunately as I found this out I was sent this" he clicked a video.

It showed Slade on the screen in a dark room "Hello Nightwing. It's good to see my favourite Titan. Anyway I bet your wondering why I'm here. Well I'm afraid that you will have to figure it out yourself but I will say this. Stop this digging for your own good. Until next time."

The screen crackled and went blank.
"Who was that?" Asked Aqua Lad said as he pointed towards the screen.
"That's Slade the worst of the worst"
"Please" said Wally " how bad can he be?"
The Titans gave him all look which said 'you really want to go there'. Kid flash looked shocked " What he can't be 'that bad'........Right?"
"He sold out the world just so he could live and tried to kill me and Nightwing. He also killed a part of a good friend he used to be Beastboy's girlfriend. He as also killed people along the way and has also made our life a living hell." said Raven in a matter a fact tone and kept her face deadly unemotional. "That's how bad he is." Everyone else looked shocked and discussed. Wally chuckled awkwardly and said " oh that's why"
"Anyway" interrupted Nightwing " I tracked down to a abandoned training field on the west side of town but that doesn't worry me."
"The worrying fact is why he can be tracked so easily" finished Robin. Night nodded
"Do the league know about this?" asked Aqua lad
"No" said Night
"Oh great" said Artemis sarcastically " we're going o a dangerous mission behind the leagues back. Then we'll come back and say 'oh hey guys just so you know we went in a mission behind your BACK that could have got us KILLED but oh well NOTHING bad happened'"

"So what will we do?" asked Megan. A smile crept up on Nights face "we fight"
