The last time round

The night holds secrets only at bat can know

Hello friends and readers. That's all I have to say so on with the story.

At the café
Cyborg, Beastboy and Superboy were the first to arrive. Then Megan and Starfire followed by Night,Robin and Aqua lad. Finally came Artemis and Raven. They were all about to eat when Megan said "hey, where's Wally?"

They all looked around to see no speedster insight. Then a sudden red head came running down the mall. He stopped in front of Aqua lad. He panted "Been....cave...memory stick.....bad bat"
"I think you dropped some words o the way here" said Raven
Wally straighten up and said "I went back to grab my wallet but Batman caught me up and said to bring you guys back. Something along the lines of a memory stick.?"

Night froze a looked quickly at his team who also looked diseased but Aqua lad said "we'll go now"

At the mountain
The teams entered the main room as the the tube closed behind them. They found themselves directly in front of Batman, Flash and Black Cannery. The adults love looked worried and Batman looked on the point of madness.

"What did you want is for?" Asked Conner.
"This" replied Batman. A sudden screen came up with pictures of Night. Every single one was him. When he was with batman or when he was red x. Even ones when he was Slade's appreciate the roof. All of them where him.

"What in gods name is this?" Half yelled half asked Cyborg.
"This is the memory stick we found at the warehouse in Slade's hand. This is what was on it"

They all turned to Night who saw blankly at the screen. "And we have some questions concerning it." Batman looked straight into his eyes. Night gave him back a glare that can only be tort by the bat himself.

As their eyes met Night could feel the pain and anger bounce straight into Batman as he looks almost as angry as himself. He felt a twang of pity towards the man but pushed it away for he knew all to well, pity pays a price.

"Titans" he turned to his team pulling his eyes from Bats "could you leave us for a chat" The Titans looked shocked but dispersed all the same. The rest of the heroes stood there until Aqua lad walked away as well knowing they needed privacy.

His team followed him to until only Raven was left. "You might need to go to please" said Cannery but Raven still stayed there. Then Batman turned to her and said rather harshly "you need to leave"
"No" Batman was taken aback by this reply
"I said you need to go"
"Why" replied Raven folding arms.
"Because this doesn't concern you" said Batman in a louder voice.
"If it concerns Night, it concerns me"
Both Raven and Batman glared at each other until Nightwing said " Rae. Please"

Raven sighed and walked away but stopped at the door and said to Bats "be careful were you step, Bruce" and she walked away

Back in the main room
Bruce was beyond mad, he was beyond anger he was at the tipping point. It was one thing to disobey one of the rules of not dating but to have his girlfriend know his secret identity was the worst thing that could happen.

He looked straight at his son who was pulling a small smirk "let's start wit one thing at a time" he said as Nightwing's smile faded "who is" he typed up at folder" Red X"

Pictures of Red X came up. Some where him fighting the Titans while others were him with Slade. He considered telling him a lie but he knew Brice would rat him out eventually. "He was me"

"What do you mean by was?" Asked Flash.
"I mean I made this, ego up to try to catch a villain called Slade"
"Who is this Slade guy?" Asked Black Cannery
"He is like are own little Joker" said Night "except he is less insane and more smart, plus he hides in the shadows so he is hard to find"

"Why..." Stared Flash but Batman cut across "have I ever met him, like in the future?"
"No"
"Why?"
"What do you mean?" Asked Nightwing in a puzzled expression.
"Well, if you had trouble with a villain wouldn't I know about it?"
Night gave a low laugh that was rather of putting. "Of course not"
"But why..." Started Batman but he was interrupted by Flash who said "why would you got to such costs to find out who the villain"

"Well it's like what you said" he turned to Batman "you would do anything to catch a villain wouldn't you?"
Batman didn't answer because he knew it was all to true.

"There's also the problem of this" Black Cannery whipped up some pictures of when Robin was Slade's appreciate. "Now that was blackmail" said Night as he pointed towards the screen. "But still had did you get to this" she gestured to all of the information and pictures. " into such a short time. What happened to you to make you take such drastic measures?"

Night was getting annoyed and angry now. It was no of their business to know what happened. However all the rage kept up came falling out. "It was all HIS FAULT!" Yelled Night as he pointed towards Batman.

"You KILLED HER Bruce. You could have done something but you killed her" he started to quit down as he claimed. He gave Bruce a dirty look and walked away till Batman said "Who?"
He turned slowly and said " Barbra". He walked away.
