One gun aday, keeps the Joker at bay Part 1

Guys I've finally finished all my GCSE's. Yay!🎉 so my updates should be a bit quicker now. I'm so sorry for being so late.Alright let'sa go.

"What the hell was that?" Yelled Superboy as he helped Megan to her feet " what ever it was I'm scared for my life and future" said Robin who had been in shock to see himself like that. He felt a firm hand on his shoulder as he looked up at Batman who gave him a sort of smile. He pushed the hand off as he walked away to talk to Aqualad. Batman felt a twinge of a memory coming towards him:

Raven smiled to herself and said out loud " I know your there, Batman" She turned to see him standing there his face firm. She walked past him to get to her room and heard him say " you don't know anything"

She turned around and smiler with all her demon eyes. "No, I know everything"

Dread swept over him in a wave. Gr didn't understand why he felt so lost. He knew Dick. He was his son, but he was broken. He looked at Robin and saw the light in his eyes. The eyes that saw some much tragedy still shone with happiness. Nightwing's eyes had so little shine left. But just then the light went from his eyes. All that remained was pure blackness. Eyes he'd never want to see again

He heard footsteps and turned round to see the green boy, the alien and the demand. He get a rush of air as Wally sped past him with his fist raised. Beastboy met him head on in cheater mode. Wally missed him by inches as Beastboy turned around to face him again. Starfire stood between them and said "please friends don't fight"

Wally snorted "we are NOT friends" Now Superboy advanced towards Starfire his fist raised "what did you do to Megan?" He sung but his fist at Starfire who couldn't move out of the way in time.

His fist went straight into Ravens hand which was held outstretched. He tried to pull his hand out of her grip but it was covered with dark magic. "I suggest that you step away and calm down" she said calmly as she let go. He put his hand down as everyone else took an intake of breath

"I didn't mean for that to happen to you" she said to Megan "I was only trying to clam him down, I didn't think that it would effect you"
"What was that" she asked timidly
"There's no time to explain" said Beastboy "We have to go out the mission"
"You're not going" said Artmies with her bow raised "after what we've seen"
"She has a point" said Aqua lad "how can we trust you? My teams safety is number 1 priority"

"We would never do that to hurt you, we are the good guys" said Starfire with her big puppy doll eyes. "Well I want answers and I want them now" said Batman. "Well we can't tell you" said Beastboy angrily "because we don't know ether, right Raven" The others looked at Raven who stayed silent
"Freind Raven?"

Raven took a breath "I'll tell you everything" she turned to her team mates "all of you. You deserve the truth" she turned to Batman with a cold but satisfied smile "but I'll only do it all we go on the mission" she held out her cold hand
"No" said Batman. She put her hand down and gave him a cold stare "then I'll have to do it myself" she walked right past him to the door.

A bat-a-rang flew right past her head and everyone too an intake of breath. Batman looked at her with pure hatred and said in a deadly calm voice "You're not going anywhere" she gave him a deadly smile and stood in battle form "who's gonna stop me". Batman also took a battle stance as people started yelling at them, knowing it would end in disaster.

"Don't do this friends!"
"Go on Rae, beat the bats!"
"There is no need to fight guys, I'm fine"
"Woo hot chick fighting the bat"
"Please Batman be sensible"
"You've going down demon"
Robin stayed silent. He wasn't sure who to vouch for. If Batman won he would never find out what happens to him in the future. But if Raven won Batman would never forgive him the be working with her.

The fight began with Raven running towards him, she swung her fist around but he ducked and tipped her of balance was she ended up doing a 360 in the air as she landed on her feet. She growled as her eyes turned scarlet red. He threw a punch at her but she ducked and gave him a gut punch. He was getting mad now. He threw a smoke bomb and went into the shadows.

Everyone was screaming at them to stop but they didn't listen. Raven stood in the middle of the smoke, he hands raised. She called out "Cowards hide in the dark! " she wiped around to see a fist hit her in the arm. She continued with her talk "Are you a coward? Like your parents killer?" That mark cost her a black eye but she went on feeling the hatred and pan that came of the bat. The heroes stood around, shocked that n what they could rather than what they couldn't see

"You let them die" she yelled. Another punch but she ducked it as she heard him yell such a childish remark in her opinion "SHUT UP". She smiled as she felt even more anger coming of him. "You let them die"
Smack
"You let his parents die"
Whack
"You let him die". Batman lost it. He went straight towards her, out of the shadows and she caught him and slammed him to the ground. The smoke was clearing and Batman and was in a giant hand with Raven standing there, her face bloody and her outfit torn. Her hands up with magic holding Batman in place.

"Now then" said Raven in her demon voice "let's see what it takes to SQUEEZE" her magic hand on Batman tighten!so he let out a wince the pain.

"Raven" said Beastboy warningly as he saw the danger signs. Raven's eyes went back to there normal colour. She let go of him as the teams all took an intake of breath. She put her hand out to help him. He took put then a shock went up Raven as she jumped with pain. She let go of his hand and went back with hatred. She ran towards him, ready to kill

"NOOOO" yelled Robin as he jumped in front of him. "You made your point" he turned to Batman "both of you". He turned o Raven and walked towards her and let out an intake "I want you and your team to go on the mission with us."
She looked at him "why?"
"Because I want to know what happens to me" he looked into her eyes. They were almost the same height but Raven was only tiny little bit bigger "I want to know what happens to us" he smiled sadly and Raven turned to the rest of the group. "We'll do it"

"What about your clothes and your.." Wally gestured to Raven but she gave him a smile and said "

At the discussion
"From what I know from the first time" said Raven pointing towards the screen "there are 6 wear houses. 2 have the hostages. 3 have bombs and has the Joker and Harley in. They are here, here and here" she said as she pointed towards the screen. Batman stepped forward.
"We will have the teams as follows:
Bomb 1: Wally and Beastboy
Bomb 2: Aqualad
Bomb 3: Superboy
Hostages 1: Artemis and Starfire
Hostages 2: Megan and Raven
Joker and Harley: Me and Robin"
"What about Night and Tin man" asked Wally
"Cyborg is taking care of Night" answered Raven.
"Ready" said everyone

At the medical bay
Cyborg was standing besides him as his heart flashed on a machine. Ravens spell had put him into a deep sleep so he couldn't hurt himself or his friends. Cyborg gave a sigh as he thought of the last time this had happen. He was so mad at the time as Raven knew why but hadn't told anyone. She told him 'it was not her place to tell'. Raven at that moment entered the room. He looked up to see her enter. Her clothes were bloody and ragged and she looked angry,tired and sad.

Cyborg got up and ran towards her, taking her hood down so he could examine her face. "Spill" said Cyborg looking at her arm. "Batman and me had a fight.."
"Jesus Christ, Rae" interrupted Cy as he looked at her bruises "really the Batman?"
"It was the only way to go on this mission and it was the only way to save him" she suddenly went quiet and Cyborg looked up to see balls of water fall from her eyes.

He pulled her in a bone braking hug and said "Raven, you carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. You worry me" she looked up and sighed. "I'll sort out this mess" she said pointing towards herself. "Azarath Metrion Zinthos" she muttered. Her whole body was covered with dark magic and all her wounds and clothes were fixed.

She turned to Nightwing but Cy caught her looking and said "you go. I'll stay." She gave him a great full smile as she kissed Nights forehead. She sat with him after that for about two more  minutes. She turned a walked out the room but she stopped and said to Cyborg "please make sure he stays". He nodded as she turned out the room to the mission that would jump start it all

So guys what do you think. It took me ages to write an I'm sorry for not updating. It has been one of the longest chapters I've ever done. It was 1700 words!! C u guys soon. Bye xx
