Chapter 13: Goodbyes are always hard

Emma's POV: 

Today is the day that Justin leaves us for two years. Today is the day that my life breaks apart again. This is square one all over. 

We, being myself, Justin, and Lily, are all sitting in the living room waiting for the tour bus to arrive. Justin is holding Lily and I'm sitting next to them with my head on Justin's shoulder. 

*BEEP BEEP* 

and... there's the bus to sweep Justin away from us. 

"Babe, I'll see you in a few weeks. I'll fly you and Lily out to wherever I am and we can spend a whole weekend together." Justin says as he gives us one final hug goodbye. 

"I'll hold you to that Justin. I love you" I reply. He says he loves me too and gives me a kiss. I watch as he grabs his suitcases and walks out the front door. Once he's gone, I break. I grab Lily and hold her close to me while I cry my eyes out. 

"mama, no cwy." Lily says as she looks at me with her big eyes. I tell her I love her over and over again and then we both fall asleep on the sofa. 

*Skip to July 20th. Justin has been on tour for 2 months*

"Come on Lily, your daddy should be waiting to pick us up!" I tell my sleepy 2 year old. We just got off the plane in Dallas, Texas where Justin's tour is stopped for the next 3 days for a concert and then 2 days off. This is the first time Lily and I have actually been able to see Justin in person since the day he left for tour because he's been too busy for us to come visit.

I look around and there he is. Standing by the gate waiting for us. "Justin!" I yell and I grab Lily and run into his arms. He holds us in his arms and says, "I missed you guys. Come on let's get to the hotel"

"Hotel? What about your tour bus?" I ask. "Well, I wanted us to have some privacy. And Selena is on the bus so i rented us a hotel room for while you two are here" He responds. hmmm okay. 

Anyways so we get to the hotel, which is massive, and get settled into the penthouse. He went way overboard, but that's just how Justin is. "I'm taking you and Lily out to dinner." Justin says. I say okay, and we go get into this fancy limo. "I made reservations at one of the nicest restaurants in this town. I want us to have a nice family dinner together", he confesses as we pull up to a very fancy building. 

We get seated and I order the Filet mignon with a baked potato and sweet tea, Justin orders the bourbon chicken with rice and a mountain dew, and I get Lily macaroni and cheese with a kids cup of milk. "So, how's tour going?" I ask. Justin smiles at me, "It's fine. I miss you guys everyday though. I'm so glad you came to visit. Even if it's just for a few days."

We get back to the penthouse, which I forgot to mention has 2 bedrooms, and put Lily to bed then went into the bedroom we were sharing. "I missed you so much baby" Justin says. "How about you show me how much you missed me" I respond with a kiss. 

That was enough to get Justin going and we made love all night long, making sure to be quiet so we didn't wake Lily.
