Three weeks had passed since the party. I'd stay at Travis's some nights, other nights I'd go to Hally and Justin's. I didn't go to Frank and Will's much, but Will and I were closer. Will had become the brother I never had. And I was grateful for that. We didn't tell anyone about where I'd "vanished" to at the party that night. I'd made Will promise, and as wrong as that sounded, I just couldn't have them apologizing to me, saying it wasn't my fault... I couldn't do it again.

As for Liam, we didn't see him much anymore. He went out and kept sleeping around. Which we didn't care, but we just hoped that he wasn't hurting anyone else like he'd done me. No one deserved that. Not even your worst enemy.

My dad went out of town for a couple months on business. So not much changed there. I wished it would though.

"Hey," Travis said. "You okay?"

I nodded. "You?"

"Yeah, I'm good," he laughed. "Worried about you, though."

"Why?" I asked.

"Because I know something happened at James's party that you're keeping secret," he said.

"Is it okay if we don't talk about it?" I sighed.

"Yeah. Just know that I'm here, okay?" He rubbed my back and I just nodded.

"Hey, everyone is supposed to stop by later. That might cheer you up," he shrugged.

"But I'm not sad," I said.

"You look it," he said.

"I'm not," I said.

"Hey!" Everyone showed up.

"You need a better definition of later," I told Travis and hugged them.

"Let's eat," Justin said as everyone went into the living room, but Will stood in front of me.

"You okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, but can we take a walk?" He asked.

"Sure," I nodded and we waved to everyone real quick. "What's up?"

"I like someone and don't know how to tell her. Or if she even likes me back," he said.

"Well, who is it?" I asked.

"I don't wanna say any names yet just in case it doesn't work out," he said.

"Well, do you know if she likes anyone?" I asked.

"Have no clue," he shook his head.

"How long have you liked her?" I asked, hoping it wasn't me. I loved Will as a good brother. Not anything more though.

"A while," he admitted.

"So why don't you just go for it? What if she likes you too and is just too nervous to ask you out?" I suggested.

"We'll see. But will you help me?" He asked.

"Help you ask out some girl?" I asked.

"Kind of," he said. "I don't know what girls like."

"It doesn't have to be anything big—unless she's that kind of girl that needs a grande gesture like that," I shrugged.

"She doesn't need it, but she deserves it," he said.

"You're really killing me here, who is it? That way I can figure out how to help," I laughed.

It was nice to have my mind redirected.

"Her name's Cami. She's a wolf, too, and her life's been hell. But she's not cold or anything about it. She's very nice, warm, and looking to help other people. But no one takes care of her and I want to," he said.

"That's so sweet," I said. "What time does she hunt? I'll 'run into her' or something."

"Around 2AM. She has trouble sleeping," he said.

"Gotcha," I said.

"Oh, and Frank likes Hally. Crazy, right?" He chuckled.

"Frank and Hally? Well I don't know Frank that well, but they'd be cute together," I said.

"Okay, well, we better get back," he said. "And thanks for helping me."

"Anytime," I reassured him.
