"Get out, I said!"

"Oh 'you said.' Please, I can do what I want."

"This isn't your house, now go! No one wants you here! You're sick."

Travis was definitely mad at someone. I woke up alone and heard him yelling downstairs. I got out of bed and went downstairs to see what the fuss was about. They were yelling profanities at each other at this point and when I made it downstairs, there was Liam and Travis going full blown vampire on each other.

Vampires didn't have giant fangs like you'd expect. They only came out when they hunted or got into really bad fights. They looked at me and I was kind of taken aback. What was Liam even doing here?

"Hey, babe. You can come back now," Liam smiled.

"Excuse me?" I asked.

"I've forgiven you, so you can come back," he took a step closer.

Travis pushed him back and stood in front of me. "She doesn't want you."

"I can handle this," I said. "Liam, go."

"Oh, so that's how it's gonna be? Okay then. Whatever," he said and walked out.

"Are you okay?" I asked once Liam was gone.

"Yeah, just glad you are," he turned around and hugged me.

"Not exactly how I pictured my morning, but," I shrugged.

"Me either," he chuckled.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. He held me and deepened it, making me bend backwards a bit. He had his hands on my hips and had me against the wall. My breath hitched in my throat and I looked at him.

"Travis, we talked about this," I said.

"We're not doing anything," he kissed my neck.

"Travis," I said a bit more firmly and he backed up.

"Sorry," he said.

"What is it with you? Why is it all of a sudden you want to do it?" I asked.

"Well, I mean, why wouldn't I? You're beautiful," he said.

"Travis, you know I'm not easy," I folded my arms. "I told you last night, a week is too soon."

"I know, I know," he said coming to his senses.

"Maybe I should stay with Justin and Hally for a while," I went to get my stuff.

"Wait, why?" He asked.

"So you can get this under control. Maybe we need some distance," I said putting my clothes in my bag.

"That's what people say when they're breaking up," he said.

"Well, we're not breaking up. I'm staying with friends so you won't turn into Liam," I said.

He seemed shocked I'd said it, but it was true. I wasn't sure if it was a guy thing or a vampire thing, but I wasn't ready. I walked out and walked to Justin's and Hally answered the door when I knocked.

"You okay?" She asked.

"Can I stay here for a while?" I asked.

She nodded and let me in.
