Red's POVThe funeral was not as bad as I would of thought. Yes, most people cried, including me and grandmother but there was more emotions in this funeral than any other funeral I've been to, of course it could of just been me, I also did a speech which I didn't exactly finish because I was too chocked up on tears, I was glad I wore waterproof mascara, because all of my mothers friends looked like raccoons.
I also was the only one wearing colour.
But I think that was a good thing, I never really liked to blend in, I thought it was boring.
Right now, me and my grandmother are in the airport, getting ready to go to Canada, I hated leaving my parents, but I promised that I would visit often.
"Are you ready dear?" My grandmother asked me, handing the security man our passports.
"Yeah," I grinned, "I'm ready."

By the time we arrived in Canada, it was six thirty.
The plane ride to Canada was not only restless, but annoying.
For starters, I didn't bring any gum for the lift off, so I had to suffer my ears almost bursting, then there was a kid in the seat behind me that wouldn't stop kicking the back of my seat, and to make matters worse, a damn baby was crying through out the whole way there.
So you can say that I was more than relieved when the plane landed.
When I took my first step off the plane, the only thing I could see was snow, and a grin played on my lips.
I loved the snow.
Cold air hit my body like a slap and I welcomed it. My grandmother got off after me and we went inside the Canada Airport, I tugged on the sleeves of my red jumper as we walked towards the baggage section, when we found all of our luggage we walked to where my grandmother's car was parked in the airport.
"So remember that your starting school soon." My grandmother told me as we walked towards her car.
"Yes I know, it's Tuesday today, so I'm starting next Monday right?" I ask her, her face pinches into a guilty expression.
"What is it grandmother?" I ask her suspiciously.
"W-well it's just that, I may have gotten the dates wrong, and, you may or may not be starting school....tomorrow?" She asks, guilt draining off of her like a waterfall.
"What?" I deadpanned.
"Hey I'm sorry! Okay, I got the dates wrong and your actually starting this Wednesday, I swear I didn't mean it!" She quickly rushes. I just sigh and smile.
"Oh grandmother, it's fine, I'm just surprised" I laugh lightly, she visibly relaxes. Then, like a light bulb went off in her head, she straightened.
"To make up for it, I will make my lasagna tonight for dinner," she starts the car and looks at me. My mouth waters at the mention of her home made lasagne.
"Okay," I nod excitingly. She laughs at this and backs the car out of the airport and towards the woods on the edge of town.
The car ride was filled with chatter and laughter between the two of us, and I missed this, when it was me and my grandmother bonding.
