Niall Horan - June 8, 2013
Harry and I arrived at Headquarters and as I walked inside, everyone was frantic. "Detective Horan, Doctor Styles!" Shauna called. "We're here!" I called back running to the back room. "What happened?" Harry asked.
"We're not sure. Molly called 9-1-1 because she said she found the killer." "I-I did!" Molly cried. "Molly, I know you're in shock but if you just--" "No! I saw what I saw!" She snapped. "Styles, you know what to do. Horan, come over here." Shauna instructed.
"What?" I ask when we're in the hallway. "You can't have feelings for Molly. She is just much of a witness as she is a suspect." "She told me she wasn't the killer!" "Killers lie sometimes, too." Shauna stood her ground.
"That's not even fair! You don't know what I saw back at that house." "Listen, all I'm saying is that if you want to be weak and like her, you will be expected to arrive at Court and testify against yourself."
Ouch.
"You don't expect me to choose, do you?" "It's either your job or the girl you met two days ago." She said walking off. I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed. "Niall!" Harry shouted. I turned around with a puzzled look on my face.
"Okay so I asked Molly if she knew the killers name or address.." "And?" "She does!" He cheered holding up the address and name of the alleged killer. "Alright, let's go." "What did Shauna talk to you about?" He asked ruffling his hair.
"She is making me choose between work or Molly." "Well to be fair you did just meet her two days ago..." "Just get in the car." I ordered starting the ignition.
We drove in silence until we came across a warehouse that Harry directed me towards. "Alright, if you come across any trouble, I will be right behind you." I said. He nodded and I realised that he still looked pretty suave... He should dress like that often. Okay Niall, back to your job.
I cautiously stepped behind Harry as he made his way to the door. "Stop right there!" An unknown voice shouted.

I gulped and took another step towards the front door. "I said stop right there!" The voice screamed at me. I turned to Niall who was crouched down in the bushes. Great, I'm the bait. "I don't want to hurt you, I want to talk with you!" I shouted back.
I turned around and Niall was already in the bushes, hidden. When I turned back, there was a man staring me down. "What were you looking at?" I gulped. "Nothing." "Well, you wanted to talk, now we're talking." He stated.
"Did you know Greg Moran?" He let out a loud chuckle before realising I was serious. "Yeah, I knew him. He was quite the hard-worker. His girlfriend was a dime, as well." He smirked. I mentally threw up at the thought of him thinking about her.
"Where were you two nights ago?" I ask discreetly recording this conversation. "Where do you think? I was right here in this dump I call a home." "And what was your name?" "Timothy Roman, why?"
"Well Timothy, Greg Moran died two nights ago in a tragic shoot-out and you are one of the suspects. I am going to have to ask you to put your hands behind your back. Anything you say can and will be used against you in court." I stated grabbing my handcuffs.
"W-What? I didn't kill him!" He spat. "Put your hands behind your back." I said coldly. He grabbed from behind him and pointed the gun at me. "Sir! Put the gun down." "No way! You think I did this! Maybe I did, maybe I didn't!" He shouted.
"Drop the gun!" Niall screamed pointing it at his head. My face was emotionless. I had encountered this problem so many times that I was used to getting the gun pointed at me and then they drop it when they see Niall.
"He said drop it!" A voice in the distant shouted. I heard the click of her high-heels against the cold pavement and I knew it was Shauna. "What did I just say?" She shouted a bit out of breath. "O-Okay..." Timothy agreed dropping the gun.
I harshly hand-cuffed his hands together and Niall led him to the police car. "Are you alright?" Shauna asked. "I'm fine. Just a bit terrifying, that's all." I joked. She rolled her eyes and walked away to the car, as well as I.

I pushed Timothy into the car and got into the driver's side. Harry stepped into the passenger's side with ease and I could tell he was a bit intimidated by what went on. "Are you okay, mate?" I ask Harry as we drive along the interstate.
"I'm f-fine.. I think I just need to go home." "Do you want me to drop you off?" "Sure." He nods. "Can we go home after we take Timothy to the station... I don't want that nut job to know where we live." I joke. He nods and cracks a small smile before being emotionless again.
I turn into the parking lot and get out. "You can go in, I will take care of Timothy..." I know Harry is feeling a bit timid because Timothy was so close to blowing his head off back there. I open the door and forcefully pull Timothy out of the car.
"Am I going to jail?" He asks weakly. "It depends on what you tell Shauna and the judge." I say harshly dragging him into Headquarters. "Sit down." I say pushing him into a chair. "Shauna, Timothy is here. I think Harry and I are going to head out, now." I call into her office.
"Alright, make sure you clock out." She says walking out. I go over to Harry who's trying not to look scared and weak but I can tell he's shaking. "Let's clock out." I say patting his back. He nods and we slowly make our way to our time-clocks.
"Thanks for not being harsh on me..." He slowly says as I click my name on the browser. "What do you mean?" "Well Shauna texted me to man up because that's happened to me before. I know it has but he hasn't ever been that close."
I could hear his voice trembling as he spoke. "Harry, don't let it get to you. You need a nice rest and if it helps, we can have a guy's movie night, and I'll be there the whole time." He turns to me and smiles, cuing that he'd like that.
We drove home singing awfully to the radio as The Fray came on, I pulled up to the house. It was a fair size for a house and the inside was nice. Harry and I try our best to keep it tidy just in case we have vistors, but the only visitors we ever have our our parents.
I unlock the door and step inside to be greeted by our two cats, Lola and Luke. I made kissy noises to them causing Harry to burst out in laughter. To be honest, he is not that bad of a guy. His regular looks may be a bit deceiving but he's a nice guy.
We spent the rest of the night just hanging out and laughing at Comedies. I think this really took his mind off the whole almost-killed thing. He fell asleep and I turned the TV off and dimmed the lights. I carried him on the arm rest and laid a big blanket on him.
I checked all the doors to make sure they were locked, plugged both his and I's phones up to charge, and laid on the couch under a warm blanket. I should do something for Harry. Maybe I should invite his family over, or something?
My thoughts were enveloped on Harry as I was thinking of what I could do for him. Maybe I could invite both of our families over. I thought as my mind wandered into sleep.
