I'll Wait For You

"BILL!" I yelled. He just let out a chuckle, I felt a shiver go down my spine and anger boil up.

"Yes Pinetree." He said. "I came to rise again. You knew it was gonna happen sooner or later."

"No." I put my foot down. I look at him he floats and comes closer to me.

"Im going to take over Gravity Falls. Now with Stan and Ford gone. It'll be easy." He said.

"No. The barrier." I yelled to him.

"See.. I know you know how to take it down." He replied in a calm voice

"I won't tell you." I told him, stepping closer to him.

"Well.. you see... I have leverage." He said, he snapped his fingers and Wendy started to float from my grip, I couldnt hold on and she flew towards him. Mabel followed.

"No." I whisper. "NO!"

"You tell me how to take the barrier down and I'll let them go."

"Don't do it Dipper!" Mabel yelled. I felt tears come down my face.

"LET THEM GO!!" I yelled.

"THEN TELL ME HOW TO TAKE THE BARRIER DOWN!" Bill yelled back at me. He came so close I felt his breath. His eye turned red. I was filled with fear.

For me.

And Mabel.

And Wendy.

I looked at both of them. There eyes were filled with fear. But they shook their heads. I looked at my feet.

"Fine." I said in defeat.

"What was that?" Bill said holding his hand to where his ear should be.

"I'LL TELL YOU! OKAY?! LET THEM GO." I yelled. I was sad and embarrassed that I agreed. But most of all I was filled with anger.

"There you go Pinetree." He snapped his fingers and Mabel and Wendy fell.

I ran to Wendy.

"You okay?" I asked. She nodded holding her head.

"Don't do it Dipper." She says. I shake my head.

"I have too." I say. She looks at me with sadness in her eyes.

"I love you Dipper." She says.

"I love you more Wendy." I said. I kiss her. When we seperate I turn to Bill.

"So. How do you do it." He said eagered. I take a peice of paper out of my pocket and show him it. He takes it and reads it.

"There. Happy?" I say. He shakes his head.

"No. Not entirely." He states.

Oh no.

"I want your soul." He says bluntly.

"No." I say as I shake my head.

"Oh. Yes. If you don't... I will hurt everyone you love." He says. He leans in and whispers in my ear. "They'll all beg for death."

My eyes go wide. I turn to see Wendy hugging and comforting Mabel.

"You'll hurt them anyways." I say calmly.

"I'm a tringle of my word. You give me your soul and I won't lay a finger on your mom.. or dad. Stan or Ford. Soos or Mabel." He pauses. "Or Wendy."

I look back at Wendy. The girl I loved, wearing her usual green flannel and jeans, with my old trucker cap. Mabel looks at me with her big wide eyes, the eyes that at one point filled with wonder and happiness, now filled with fear and saddness.

I touch the old lumberjack hat Wendy gave to me, what feels like forever ago, and the dog tag Mabel gave me. I look at the words.

I love you bro-bro.
I know you'll make the right choice.

I look at them with tears in my eyes.

"Let me say goodbye." I say, Bill nods.

"You got 3 minutes." I nod and walk to them.

"What?" Mabel says when she sees the sadness that covers me.

"I'm sorry. I had to. Or he would have hurt you guys." I say, crying.

Mabel hugs me so tight I gasp for air.

"DON'T GO! PLEASE! I CAN'T LOSE YOU!" Mabel yells between sobs squeezing me tightly. I hug her back.

"Hey. Look at me." I say pulling away, she looks at me with a tear stained face. "I'll be right back."

She nods and hugs me again, she pulls away and I turn to Wendy.

"Don't do this." She whispers. I go in to hug her but she steps back.

"I'm doing this to protect you. Because I love you so mu-" I say but she cuts me off. She walks up to me so close I feel her breath, she looks into my eyes, I see her beautiful eyes filled with anger.

"If you loved me so much then you would stay." She spits out. Her eyes eventually turn soft. "I can't lose you."

"Hey. Don't worry. I'll be back."

"When?" She asks. I reach into my pocket to pull out a peice of paper. I hand it to her. She unfolds it to see the writting that has been there for four years, start to fade, but still visible.

"Hey. You mean a lot to me." I whisper. I hold out my hand. She looks at it then up to me, she joins our fists together. I lean down and kiss her, I soon pull away.

I grab her hat and swap it out for mine. She looks up to see me wearing my old trucker cap and she has her old lumberjack hat.

"Something to remember me by." I say. If I could cry, I would, but I have no tears left. I lean down to kiss her. For the last time.

"I love you." I tell her.

"I love you too dork." She says with a smile and tears rolling down her face. I turn and start to walk to Bill.

"I'll wait for you." She yells after me. I stop walking and turn to look at her, I smile at her and she smiles back. The smile I grew to love on the girl I love.

I turn and walk to Bill.

"Truly touching." Bill says as he wipes an imaginary tear. I turn back and look at them one last time.

"Just do it." I snap. He laughs.

He then claps.

I see a blinding white light.

Then everything goes black.
