I'll Wait For You

The Book

-Mabel-

I was sitting on the counter sewing a rainbow on my brand new dress. Then all the sudden Dipper ran in, scaring me. I jumped and the needle cut my thumb.

"Dammit Dipper!" I yelled as I held my thumb. I saw blood oozing out, I looked behind the counter and grabbed a band-aid.

"Is Wendy still her?!" Dipper said, he sounded out a breath and his eyes were wide.

"Dipper you're scaring me." I said as a shiver went down on my spine.

"Is she here?" He asked calmly, he held my knees and looked me in the eyes. I nodded.

"She's still on the roof." I say. He nodded and ran upatairs. Soon he came back down holding Wendy's hand. Her eyes were red and puffy, like she's been crying.. But why?

"Okay. Listen to me. Both of you." He said looking into each of our eyes. We both nodded and he continued. "I went out to go for a walk, whe-"

"Why did you leave? What happened?" I blurted out.

"I-uh..." He looked at Wendy and she looked away, he shook his head. "I wasn't feeling good. Anyways, I was walking in the woods and I tripped. I rolled down a small hill and when I looked up. I saw something."

"Well spit it out." I said.

"It was Bill. He was a statue. The-"
"You sure it was him?!" Wendy said, she looked at Dipper with wide eyes, you can see the fear standing behind them.

"Yes. 100% sure. But, as I turned to leave I saw someone walk up to him." He said.

"Who?! Why?!" Wendy and I said in usion. He shook his head.

"I don't know. But I do know, whoever it is. We need to stop them." He said. I nodded, still processing what was happening.

"Who could it be?" Wendy asks herself.

"I don't know. But we need to figure this out. Tomorrow we'll go into town and look around, see if we can find something." He said.

"Okay." Wendy says. She starts to walk out the door, Dipper ran after her and I went up stairs to shower.

-Dipper-

I grabbed Wendy's arm just as she was about to turn the knob. I turned and saw Mabel was gone so I spoke up.

"Wendy. I'm so sorry. I dont know what got over me." I said, as I looked down. She slightly shook her arm to get free from my grip. I dropped my arm to my side and looked at her.

"Don't worry dude. Its in the past. Water under the bridge." She said as she looked up at me, she ginned, I got lost in her eyes.

"Its just I-I-." She cut me off.

"See you tomorrow. 10 sharp." She said, she looked at me one last time before heading outside. I looked at the door hoping she'll come back, but she didn't. I turned and head upstairs to take a shower, and go to bed.

-NEXT DAY-

I woke up to Mabel shaking me.

"Dipppeeeerrrr!!" She yelled.

"I'm up." I said as I sat up. She smiled and headed out the door. I stretched and scratched my lower back.

I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth. Then I brushed my hair to cover my birthmark. When I walked out Mabel was there.

"I invited Theo!" She said with a big smile.

"Okay.. Just make sure he's here by 10." Just as I finished that sentenced Theo walked up the stairs.
