I'll Wait For You

We spent the rest of the day trying to figure something- Anything out.

We looked at the book, or the one picture of it. Forward, backwards, inside and out. Nothing. Just a dead end.

After a while Mabel left with Theo and it was just me and Dipper.

"Why." He says after a while. I look at him with curiosity.

"Why what?" I ask. He looks at me and I see anger behind his eyes.

"Why everything! Why is Bill back? Why now? Why!" He snaps. I feel a shiver go down my spin, I've never seen him this angry. Its kinda scary.

He must have saw, because he sighs and his eyes quickly show guilt.

"I'm sorry. I'm just frustrated." He says. I look at him and he just looks down and shakes his head. After a minute he looks up at me, our eyes lock and I see tears coming down his face. "What if we can't beat him this time?"

I normal would say something like "we will" or "don't worry." But Dipper knows better. He already nows the answer to his own question. He just wanted to see what I'd say. I just shake my head.

"I don't know." I say, I feel tears crawl down my cheek and I feel Dipper wipe them away. He presses his lips lightly on my own, he pulls away after a moment.

"How about movie night?" He says with a smile. I nod, wipping the tears away, we sit and watch Finding Nemo.

After a while, I forget about Bill, and fall asleep in Dipper's arm.

-Dipper-

Just as the end credits start to roll Mabel comes in, with a huge smile on her face.

"Ask me how my date was." She tells me. I roll my eyes.

"How was you-"

"It was wonderful!" She interrupts me. "He took me for a walk in the woods and we watched the stars and. And. He said he loves me."

I feel anger in my chest. When Mabel got her first boyfriend in 8th grade, he used her. It was a bet with all his friends. They thought he couldn't stay with "the weird, annoying, and crazy girl." So he dated her. But lost the bet, she was the laughing stock of school. Ever since then, I feel worried for Mabel when a boy gets close to her.

"That's.. Great." I say between grit teeth. Mabel comes over to me and looks at me.

"Dipper. Don't worry. He's not like the first. Trust me." She says, I nod and she goes upstairs. I look at the screen as names pop up. I get lost in thought and fall asleep next to Wendy.

I wake up to the sound of a camera shuttles. When my eyes open I see Mabel holding a insta camera, she grabbed the photo and shook it.

"This one is going in the scrapbook." She says. I shake my head but laugh. Since we were last here in Gravity Falls, she hasn't changed. "Get up. I made breakfast."

I get up and stretch, as I start to walk I feel arms wrap around my waist.

"Don't go." I hear in a soft, scratchy morning voice. It only belong to one girl. Wendy.

"Come on. Mabel made breakfast." I say as I try to walk forward, but she pulls me back. I roll my eyes and turn around. I put one arm under her knees and another behind her shoulder, and I lift. I pick her up with ease and she jumps from the sudden change.

"Put me down!!" She yelled in anger but had a smile on her face.

"No!" I yell back. I walk into the kitchen and set her down on a chair. She hits my arm playfully.

We all sit and eat. Soon the door bell rings. I get up to get it, when I open the door I see Theo. I smile and let him in.

"Thanks Dipper." He says, he walks into the kitchen and gives Mabel a small kiss on the cheek.

"No problem." I say as I sit down and continue to eat.

"Any luck on the book." He asks, I shake my head and he looks sad. But happy at the same time. I shrug the feeling off and finish eating. Mabel went upstairs with Theo to show him something.

"DIIPPPER!" Mabel yells. I groan but go upstairs. When I get there I see Mabel and Theo by the closet.

"Yeah?" I ask. Mabel points to the top shelf. I groan again but get it. I hand it to Theo and he looks at with a smile.

"Thanks Pinetree." He says. My grow wide and he turns and walks away with Mabel.

Only one person called me that...
