Zayns POV.
Im standing outside the school on the parking slot with the lads and i hear someone call my name, I tunr my head and I see Katelyn, shit! James and Kevin starts to laugh i just glare at her, why cant she see im busy?! i just laugh with them so they dont think i hang out with her or anything. "Zayn i need to talk to you" "Zayn dont tell me you're friends?" james says with a grin, i feel my whole body tense up, i walk towards her and when im in front of her i grip her sweater "what the hell do you want?! jesus i was nice to you ONCE, dont act like we're friends, you're still the girl noone wants to be around!" at first i hiss at her but i feel my blood boil so the last part i shout and she looks so broken, but im to angry to care, i see the tears stream down her cheeks. i walk back to the lads and i give him a bag and he gives me the money "always nice to do bussnies with you zayn" kevin says and i give them a half smile before i see liam,niall and louis "hey,liam!" the stop and smiles a little, i walk up to them and we walks inside, we walk down the corridor and liam is about to walk threw the door but the door slams in his face, "sorry" i hear Katelyns voice. we walk inside and i takes a seat on a table. Katelyn walks towards her bag and she looks over at harry and turns around and does something, maybe she whiped away a tear.. what the fuck have harry done? but harry looks worried, why whould he be worried about her? "what happended ?" he asks her "n-nothing just a stupid misunderstanding" she says and glares over to me and i feel the guilt wash over me, what have i done? she grabs her bag and walks away really fast "Hey! wait!!" harry shouts but she doesnt come back, harry looks over at us and shrug his shoulders. I stand up and i feel how they stare at me i cough and say "i gotta go" harry gives me a pissed glare "why?" "i gotta meet up James" I lie and harry nod hestantly.
I run out to the parking slot and light a cigarette, then i start to walk down town, i dont care about school anyway. I see a blonde girl walk in front of me and i smile, knowing that its Katelyn. I see that she walks inside the supermarket and I feel like I have to know why shes there, well I know that Veronice works there and Veronica where the only one that stod up for Katelyn.. But Katelyn doesnt know why Veronice drop out from schol, Veronica told her some shit about she was tired of school but that is not true..
I walk inside the supermarket and Veronica stares at me with wide eyes and tries to walk away "veronice please,I need to talk to you.." i try to beg her and she turns around and walks up to me "what now?" she asks me and i try to give her a little smile "uhm.. so I kinda like this girl, and i screwed up..and I need your help " I explain to her and she sigh "yea,sure meet me here at 10" she says and turns around and walks away, I walk out from the supermarket with a smile..
Veronicas POV.
I stand and unpack a few carrots when I see Katelyn walk towards me and a smile forms on my lips, i run up to her and hugs her, she asks me where the haircolours are and i show her them and then i see a very familiar face walk towards me and I cant understand why HE is here.. I tries to walk away but then he speaks "Veronica please, I need to talk to you.." i hear how desperate he is. I turn around and walk up to him "what now?" he tries to smile but i dont smile back so he continues "uhm.. so i kinda like this girl, and i screwed up.. aand i really need your help" i can hear in his voice that he reall neds my hel so i sigh and tell him to meet me outside he supermarket around 10, then i turn around and continues to unpack carrots.
The time past by fast and before i know it its 9:55
My boss Elisabeth is standing in front of me and she looks pissed "Veronica, I need you too stop talking to that tattoed boy, he frightens the customers!" she shout and I just stare at her "Are you kidding me?! he is a normal human beeing like everyone else!? or is he not good enough for a stubborn Bitch like you? !" I scream back and Elisabeth stares at me in shock "if I were you, young lady, i would be careful of what words I use!" she says between gritted teeth. I walk past her and slam the staff door in her face before i walk outside and find Zayn stand there with a cigarette in his hands "so whats up?" i ask him and he suddenly looks very very nervous "so.. I like this girl.." he made a pause and i nod to encurage him to continue "and she special, she is not afraid to be herself, shes kind,cute,and thosee eyes" Zayn says and starts to zone out "Hey! keep yor head in the game " i tell him and wave my hand infront of his face, but its to late, his eyes suddely snaps at me "i think im in love with Katelyn" he says and I feel a shock go trough my body "was that why you were in the store today?" i ask him and he nods, then he tells me about what he did to her. "Zayn, just make it u to her, do something romantic, then tell her how you feel" Zayns eyes lit up and he hugs me tightly "thank you so much, you know,the lads cant stop talking about you, we miss you" he stares me deep in the eyes "i miss you" I just look down at my feets "yea.. i miss you guys too sometime sbut, i cant go back to that life zayn.. ts just.. i just.." i try to find the word and Zayn nods understandng "its okay, but promise you will come and visit us sometimes?" he asks and i smile "yea sure" I smile and linger my pinky finger around his "i pinky swear" i tell him and giggle he just smiles and chuckles a little "good, you know where to find us" he says slowly as he lean in to kiss my cheek, I just smile at him "yea, how can i forget?" i ask him and he just smiles and walks away.
oh if i forgot to tell you, a year go I was dating James,of course i knew he was a bad guy, but it didnt stop me
**FLASHBACK**
"Cmon babe just do it" he cheers on me and I inhale the smoke and cough a little, i try again and holds the smoke down "and exhale" he tels me and I let the smoke come out, everything peope say or do, is the most funniest thing i ever seen ! i just cant stop laughing. I look over at the table and i see the lines wth some sort of pulver lined up "Hey, can i try that please babe, you know i can handle it" I say and grind on him and he just smiles "sure babe" i dont think he was thinking straight but i dont mind, i grab a dollar and rolls it up, then i place it at the end of one line, i bring my nose to the dollar bill and inhale fast as ipull the dollar bill down, and i felt it burning inside my nose, and soon i was hyper, i want to run around and just.. DO SOMETHIN!! "come here babe" James voice filled the room and I sit down on his lap and kiss him "i love you" i whisper.. "I love you to kitten" he tells me and then everything went black
**END OF FLASHBACK**
It was a few days after that night he broke up with me, i stll dont know what happened that night or why he broke up with me,I started doing more and heavier drugs, I took an overdose and went to the hospital, it wasnt anything that dangerous and they allowed me to go home after a few days,I promised to myself that day to stay away from James and the rest, including Zayn.
One thing i love about Zayn, is that you can always count on him, he is a real brother.. yea i know i sound like a dude.. but hey, dont blame me!
