Today was a normal day like any other really. The sun was shining on this 63 degree weather and the high schoolers were piling into the school like moths to a flame. In particular was me. I am the school nerd, always asked if I could do people's homework, and often being teased by jocks. Marco, they'd say. Where's my homework, dork. It was always like this since forever and I never did their homework, so of course I did get beaten up but y'know. That's okay. So today I was standing at my locker wearing this nice band shirt I had bought a few months ago, to go along with my black and white plaid t-shirt that I wore open all the time. This and my black Jeans and red converse I stood at my locker. It's always getting jammed and could never fit all of my books. I stood there pulling and putting books out and in. Before I was meeted by one of the football players who were always teasing me.
Jean Kirschtein was his name, blonde hair ruffled on the top of his head and under was a nice dark brown. He had these green emerald eyes that shone every time he looked at me and my stupid freckled cheeks. He always wore something similar to what I wear daily, whether it be ripped jeans and a t-shirt or something under a hoodie, he never even looked like the others. But he sure acted like them. I turned around ready for home room only to have a hand come over my shoulder and slam against the locker. A sudden rush of fear fell over me, leaning up against the locker I met his gaze carefully and gulped. He tilted his head.
"Where's my homework Bodt?" he stated
"I didn't do it" I leaned up against the locker noticing after a bit I was in fact taller than him.
"I told you to do it didn't I" He grabbed my shirt and pulled me close to him and smirked a bit, I could feel the soft warm breath against my lips as he breathes harshly. I turned away ready for a beating. But instead he pushed me down with a small smirk and left me on the floor as he went along with his posse. I stood with a small sigh and picked up my books before heading to home room, looking down.
Sitting in homeroom I just had to think to myself puzzled at the small smirk and the way his eyes seemed to gleam. It was different from when anybody else would push me around. But Jean was different to me, I have the biggest crush on the guy who would forever hate me and bully me. Jean single mindedly decided to sit next to me in homeroom. He had no books or anything, that's all I could notice before he looked over at me and raised a brow. I couldn't help but look away and blush a bit. The class went by in a blur. Other than glancing at the boy next to me I couldn't finish my work like usual and didn't even listen to the teacher for our homework. Which left to me having to go up to my friend Armin and ask for some help on the notes and homework. Armin was a sweet kid and smart like me. But instead he hid it from the jocks...Most of the time.
