                                                               Rain

As the Fury Express finally took a final stop, I started to notice the large building coming into sight. It was a temple styled marble construct with 6 large pillars keeping it. Two in front, two on each side, and 2 in the back. I couldn't imagine this grand building every coming down. What if it did? Pointless thinking.

The train gave out one more siren until it finally stopped upon a gravel sidewalk.

" Off you go!" The train attendant proudly stated. He was a tall, thin, griffin that had an enchanted necklace strapped around his neck to give him the ability to speak.

He noticed me staring at the pendent that was drooping from his feathery neck. " No," I said, quickly turning the other direction an order to walk away.

" Oh, don't go so fast lad!" He called to me but I stiffly continued to walk.

From  the corner of my eye I watched as he smirked annoyingly as he swirled his long talon.

" What...." I started to say but it was too late. After everyone had got off at their stop I noticed what the strange creature was trying to tell me.

Turn around.

"Oh goodness no.." but it was too late.

The train had already started to pump away at the tracks and left me stranded on this block I had no idea about.

I got off too early.

I had to walk the rest of the way there that I hardly knew. I was just thinking so much about something else that I got off at the wrong stop. Way to go Rain! On your first day too! I couldn't believe it. I could be late!

I quickly started jogging through windy morning.

After jogging through 4 blocks I was really tired. All of this could be gone if I wouldn't be so stupid.

The school was only about 3 blocks away when I noticed a girl.

She was about 5:5 with long curly brown hair. She had green streaks running through them which kind of looked like a full grown tree with leaves. She was very pretty and had a thin face with kind features. The heals on her feet where sparkly and clean which meant they were freshly bought and never used. The heals made her 5:7.

I hid behind a small bush and stared closer at the girl. As I stared someone appeared out of a..... tree. He was a small thin boy with hardly any muscles. (Great like me!) He was about the same height as her and was smiling weirdly. Maybe thats her boyfriend? 2 minutes later he grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her into the tree.

I tried running to go help, but before I knew it they both disappeared inside the tree.

"What?" I asked to my self, but I soon concluded that they were nature spirits. If not, the tree would of rejected the girl and left her bruised.

It's not like everyday you see a girl vanish into a tree like nothing.

I looked at the watch on my wrist.

It said 7:47

School was at 8!

I quickly started sprinting the rest of the way. I remember on the document they gave us when we first enrolled. Especially that sentence.

All students are required to be there 10 minutes early on the first day to meet up at your excel! No excuses!
