Rain
As I ran the rest of the way, the school suddenly started appearing more vividly. It was a large tall building that had large pillars supporting it on each side. There was ancient engravings running throughout the buildings structure.
In the field in front. There was a large outdoor stadium to the side, and spread out woodland forest that surrounded the school. There were 1 wide track on the left and a tennis court on the right. The swimming pool was in the back of the school, being surrounded by cherry blossom trees.
When you first walked up to the front of the school, there was a magnificent fountain that was brewing rainbow colored waters that contained the faint smell of bubblegum - lemon. On the top, was a mini version of a cupid that was twirling in the shifting waters.
Great, my first day and I already see my brother!
When you first walked in it was like a temple. One large monument or alter with a great Zeus.
It showed him with a stone lightning bolt in hand facing the direction of the students. Probably to strike the living fear into them as they entered the school.
The hallways were constantly swerving and shifting so It was hard to keep up. I got lost twice before finally found the room labeled room 782. There was a total of 900 rooms in the entire school, to accommodate the population of all of the students that attend here.
Most of the school was a high-school, but since there were so much excess room left over after the construction, there was room left for a middle school. But really we still call it a high- school.
I opened the door in front of me and quickly tried to hide the noise the door made while opening. I tiptoed to the closest seat that wasn't already taken up but while venturing to my seat, I tripped on a pen under my foot.
Bbbbbuuffffff!!
As I fell, I dropped all my stuff and all my papers went flying. The worst possibility came true and finally the teacher looked behind himself.
"What has happened?!" The old centaur the asked the class. He put on his glasses and stared where the accident had happened.
He had a long, fluffy white beard running down his chin and small glasses that barely had fit him. His hair was run back in a long pony tail filled with gray hair. He was semi-muscular, which you could see because he had no shirt on. He was a white stallion under his chest. As he strolled through the room you could he the click, clack his hooves made under him.
" Young man, I will not hold up this kind of behavior, so please take seat in your designated seat and pay attention. Hmm. You're - lucky - you're semi late." This is what he told me.
I had no idea what semi late meant but hopefully it wasn't that late. " I'm sorry sir, it won't happen again."
(LIE)
Soon after I had taken my seat, the bell rang and it was time to leave the class.
Right when I was leaving he called right after me.
"Rain please return to my desk," He called.
"Ok," I answered him.
" Well? Why were you late?" His dark, old eyes curiously gazed. It felt as if he was gazing through my soul. (Wasn't nice)
" Missed the train ride and then I had to walk the rest of the way. It was pretty hard because it was about a mile away."
I didn't tell him about the girl evaporating into the tree because I wanted to keep that to myself
He told me," Just make sure it doesn't happen again."
"Got it" I answered and headed out the door.
Finally
