"They've been working together to get you and Prod to break up" Mani spat out. I stiffened up trying to register all of what she said
"Is that all ?" I asked in a calm tone.
"Basically" Mani said with a worried look
"That's all I needed to hear" I replied getting up
Kat's P.O.V
"Don't do anything crazy Kat" Imani said watching me leave out , before even responding I closed the door and headed to Jacobs room. I had no idea what I was going to say, I guess I gotta wing it. I took a deep breath then knocked on the door.
"..Hey , Kat" He said hesitantly opening the door
"Hey , can we talk" I asked
"Sure" He began to lead me into the room but I wasn't gonna be long so I stopped him and stayed at the door
"I just came to say , I love you but I'm not inlove with you .. I'm inlove with Prod, I don't wanna do this little love triangle thing anymore , I'm done. Yeah that's really what I'm trying to say , I'm done. I know about you and Shay trying to break me and Prod up but that's not gonna happen anytime soon. I'm not mad or angry or anything I'm just done. Don't get me wrong we can still be friends but I'm just tired of having to choose you know... Uh I guess that all I have to say" I said with a shrug, I had no idea how he would react to that but hopefully he understands
"I get it ... but I'm never gonna stop loving you." He replied
"Well , try to just love me as a friend"
"I'll try" He said smirking
"Friends?" I asked smiling
"Friends." I gave him a hug before leaving to Prods room.
Once again I had no idea what to say , I just gotta hope for the best. I knocked on his door and waited patiently for him to answer.
"That was fast" He said referring to what I told him earlier "I would've thought you needed at-" before he could finish his sentence I jumped up and kissed him.
"I don't have to choose anymore" I whispered against his lips

Yes lawd finally through with The lights , We came a long way loves thank you for staying with me from Amplify to The Lights I hope you've enjoyed reading it as much as I did writing it.
