" I take it that you're all being pursued" The man spoke
"Who exactly are you?" Erza asked in a serious tone
"As you can see, I am the head Monk of this temple" The man said " Everyone stared at the man
"Lately, there has been talking in the village nearby..that the spirits of The Band of Seven, who were ambushed and put to death over ten years ago, has somehow been resurrected, bringing great calamity to this region" The Monk finished
Every then had seemed to have taken a great interest in the Monks words.
'huh..so he knows of them..' Inuyasha thought
"The dead that you all saw me buried when you all first arrived were burned to death by the resurrected spirits" The Monk said
"And yet you somehow survived the attack? " Gray said
"I was filled with such fear, that I hid like a coward behind the statue of Bodah" The Monk replied as so as Gray had finished his sentence
The group then started to get even more suspicious of the Monk
"I understand that you are being persuaded by these seven, evil spirits" The Monk said
"Look, were not being persuaded, were the one doing the pursuing. So get it straight" Inuyasha shot at the Monk
"Inuyasha" Kagome said in a warning tone, though she did not trust the Monk either
"I meant you no offense, but please answer me this..." The Monk started, everyone listening closely
"...Why has The Band of Seven been resurrected?" The Monk asked
Inuyasha's right hand holding onto the end of his sword, as if he was ready to draw it
"Why do you want to know that?" Kagome asked
"As you know, I served Bodah, but I was helpless to stop the slaughter of my brethren" The Monk bows his head down "And so I wish to make mends. If I'm able, I wish to put a peace to the souls of the dead" The Monk finished
'It's...that smell' Natsu thought
