It was a long car drive from Texas but I really didn't care. I had lived in Hardin once, in felt so long ago. We were going through Missouri. I could see the rain on my window rolling down and the city lights. I looked at the clock that said 11:23. I need sleep, if you like to call laying down in a small backseat with the seatbelt thing stabbing you in the back sleep.
When I woke up the rain had stopped but my back still hurt from the seat belt thing. I saw the house I was staying in to. It was small, painted brown with a green tin roof, two windows in front with a green door. I didn't care if it was small this was the house I was going to stay in, like in or not and the sooner I relize this the happier I will be. I walk up to see my dad and Judy, my long time best friend and cousin. She ran up and gave me a hug.
"I'm so happy your home. I have so much I need to tell you and you came at the right time too, school is out in like 6 weeks!"
One thing that never changed for Judy is that once she starts to talk she might never stop.
It was good to be home. I never liked the city anyway."Judy can come over this weekend and you start school tomorrow. Let's hop in the truck were taking her home then we have to stop the garage down town to get a few things"
One thing that never changed for Dad, he trys to kill every good moment.
Judy said she would come over and I was happy about that. Once we got to the Garage things started to change.
I was sitting in the room waiting wall dad talked to some guy working on a car.
"Hey I remeber you! Your Taylor Mane"
I turn to see someone I knew Travis Blake. He use to ride my old bus.
"Travis?"
"Yeah"
Travis looked different but not to different same dark brown hair with green eyes still taller than I was and a year older than me too. The only thing different was he was cuter than before.
