I curled my dark brown hair and put on a pair of jegging with a long blue tank top that was longer on the sides and then put on a old pair of black flip flops. I hated contacts so I kept my big black glasses and dad understood that I didn't want any make up.
After the wedding we went to the after party thing. I found Travis in the back by the table of food. Everyone seemed to be dancing.
"Having fun doing nothing?"
"I'm not doing nothing. I'm eating this amazing piece of cake" he said holding up the piece of cake. I smiled.
"Are you going to dance?"
"Nope I have a chair over there with my name on it" he pointed over at a chair.
We sat and tryed to see who knew the most songs that came on then a women came up to us
"You need to dance, Travis. The next song that comes on I want you up and dancing. Slow song or not!" She said. He nodded.
"Who was that?" I asked when she left.
"That was my mother"
"Oh" that was the only word I could think to say
"Yep that's her"
"She seems scary"
He laughted at my comment. We waited for the next song. Then it came on, You and Me by lifehouse.
He grabbed my hand.
"I wasn't told to dance"
"If I dance you dance" he said smiling
We talked wall we danced mostly about his mom and other random things. It was fun but there was one thing that I kept saying to myself He has a Girlfriend.
