The Dance

Judy: On Friday their having a summer dance!

I look at my clock that said 3:37am. I roll over not relizing I was on the edge. I rolled off and hit the floor, well now I'm awake. I get my phone and text back Judy.

Me: Really?

Judy: Yeah but u have to bring a date

Me: Really?

Judy: Yep

Me: Wait isn't today Friday?

Judy: Yep

We talked more about the dance and who we were going to bring. When I got done talking to Judy, which seemed like forever, I layed back down to sleep but it was followed by the sound of my alarm clock. It couldn't be 6 yet. It was so I got dressed and went back to sleep.

The Dance

Judy and I were going to meet up with Andy and one of his friends to go to the dance because Judy and his friend didn't have a date. Once we got there I saw Andy's friend. He had blond hair and brown eyes and was wearing a Star Wars shirt. I saw Judy's face and elbowed because she was staring.

"Hey. This is my friend Darren" Andy said.

"Hey. This is my friend Judy" I said smiling. Judy just gave a small wave.

Once we got there I saw alot of people I knew, mostly because of working at Aunt Poppy's.

Kay and Jake, Eve and Sean, Becca and Kyle, Amber and Travis with May and Nate, Ava and Jack, Mike and Joy.

Kay saw me and she grabbed Jake's arm and came over to me. She smiled and said

"Hey Taylor take a look at Nate's face and tell me if you see anything different"

I told Judy was Kay said and we went to get a drink the same time Nate did. We took a drink and turned to see Nate with a black eye. I had to do everything in my power not to laugh.
We danced and I looked to see Amber and Travis making out, gross. Then I turned to my left and saw May and Nate doing the same thing. Then the song Little do you do by Alex & Sierra and everyone started to dance but not Travis, Amber, May and Nate. I look over at Judy who was dancing with Darren then to Ava who was dancing with Jack but stopped at Becca and Kyle. Kyle had brown hair with green eyes and big glasses like mine and he played a lot of video games. Why would a girl like Becca date a guy like Kyle? This was weird, everything was way to . . . Perfect. That's when it happened, a girl stood in the doorway with a What is this look on her face.

"Sean!" She yelled.

"April! I'm sorry!" He yelled and ran after her leaving Eve on the dance floor alone.

After that I was done and so was everyone else.
