BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
The sound of my alarm fills my ears as I attempt to stop the annoying sound.
After shutting it off, I realize why my alarm was going off in the first place.
It was the first day of the new school year.
UUUUGGGGHHH!
I stand up, walk into the bathroom and take a nice cold shower to calm me down.
After taking a shower, I walk to my closet and pick out a loose, dark blue, long sleeve top with black and purple designs bordering the bottom and sleeves, ripped black skinny jeans, and black converse.
I walk over to my new vanity, reminding me that I no longer had mother's old one and sighed.
I start to do my hair as if I was putting it in a french braid but instead of doing the full braid it leads into a high ponytail.
Then I take the snowflake necklace that my parents got me for my 10th birthday and put it on.
When I'm satisfied with myself I walk to Anna's room and knock on the door.
"Anna, sorry to wake you but..." I start but she cuts me off. "No, no it's fine I've been up for hours" Anna replies with a yawn.
I roll my eyes, I knew she hadn't actually been awake. Anna is NOT a morning person.
I then hear a snore and a short snort before she asked "Who is it?", "Still me Anna" I reply.
"It's time to get ready!" I tell her. "Get ready, get ready for what?" I hear her ask.
"The First Day of School?" I state as if it were the plainest thing in the world.
"The Firz Day o Schoo" She says sleepily. After a few seconds I hear a gasp. "It's the First Day of School!!!"
I giggle lightly at her silliness and then go downstairs to eat breakfast.
Downstairs, I find Aunt Stella in the kitchen making chocolate chip pancakes.
"Mmmmm, Making chocolate chip pancakes I see" I say to Aunt Stella.
"Yes, I heard they were you and Anna's favorite. So I thought you could use it, especially on your first day of school!" She tells me.
Soon after receiving my stack of pancakes, Anna comes bounding down the stairs.
"Whoa, slow down there crazy! What's the rush?" Aunt Stella questions Anna.
"I'm just SUPER excited to get to school today and meet new people and make new friends, not to mention joining after school activities!" Anna practically shouts.
Not that it isn't already SUPER obvious but Anna can be quite the social butterfly unlike me who has trouble simply fitting in.
After Anna wolfs down her pancakes, we grab our stuff and Aunt Stella drives us to school.
We soon arrive and step out on to the unfamiliar territory.
Well...here goes nothing!
