Saving Kitty

Part 6

"It's about Adrien, who is also known as Chat Noir" my bestie said, once again leaving my moth gaped open.
"Wow, all my friends are superhero, I want to be one" I yelled.
"Your a hero to me!" Marinette said, a friendly smile forming on her lips.
"That's not good enough, I want to be a hero to Paris!" I giggled, Marinette giggled too.
"Well, Jamie, I think he works for Hawkmoth, and he took Adrien with him somewhere, and I just can't find him" She said with tears welling up in her eyes.
"I don't even know why I'm telling you this, there's nothing you can do, I just," She continued. Tears flowed out of her eyes before she could even finish her sentence.
I pulled my sobbing friend into a hug, squeezing as tight as I can, trying to hold back my own tears. It hurts to see your bestie like this, the one person you dedicate your life to, and would do anything for, seeing them upset is just the worst thing ever. "Well find him, I promise!" I said, staring into her deep blue eyes as they started to shimmer again.

Marinette pov

"We'll find him, I promise!" Alya said, staring into my eyes. That's something I've been telling myself all day, yet hearing it from Alya makes me feel a thousand times better. I don't know what it is about this crazy little girl, but she never fails to make me happy. Those two words, 'I promise', they always seem to cheer me up. Every time I have a problem, she adds those two little words, 'I promise' , to the end some crazy statement that may not always be true, and I feel a million times better. I smiled and pulled her close again, and just sat there in a hug for a few minuetes.
"I love you girl, your the best!" I exclaimed. I pulled back and stared into her eyes. "Thank you" I said.
She stared at me like I was crazy. "For what?" She asked.
"For everything, for everything you've ever done for me, for always being there for me, for saying these crazy little things to make me happy, for being my bestie!" I answered. She smiled back at me and tackled me into a hug, pushing me onto the floor.
"No, thank you for being Marinette, queen of Paris!" She exclaimed making us both giggle. "Now let's go find your prince, queen Mari!"
I was about to stand up after my bestie, when I noticed a note.

~Dear Marinette,
Want to find your kitty? He's hidden in a place only three people know about, me, Adrien, and his brother, Felix. Find Felix to find out where your kitty is, and give me your miraculous to get him back.

My face lit up as I read the note.
"Felix, I need to find Felix" I exclaimed, my bestie giving me weird looks. She grabbed the note from my hands and skimmed over it.
"Change of plans, let's go find Felix" my bestie said. "Wait who's Felix?" She asked.
"I don't know" I replied with a frown. "This is going to be impossible, we don't even know who 'Felix' is" I sighed, feeling my smile fade.
"Hey" Alya said, looking right into my eyes."We'll find him"

"I promise!"

Sorry for the short chapter, but I felt like this would be a great place to stop, but I'll publish a longer one sometime this week.
I'm sorry it took me 5 days to make this one, but I couldn't think of what to write and I wanted it to be perfect.
