Saving Kitty

Part 8

I kept staring in the direction Hawkmoth was in. I stared at yet another dark figure in the distance, trying to figure out who it was. My jaw dropped and my heart pounded as I realized who it was. I ran, completely forgetting that Alya was behind me and akumatized. I ran, not even thinking about how much danger I'm in, and the civilians behind me. I ran, not knowing what was going on, or what I was gonna do when I got to the problem, I just ran with one though on my mind- save my kitty.
"You came?" Chat said weakly, and very confused. I then felt a sharp pain in my side and I heard screaming. Chats eyes filled with pain, it hurts to see his usually bright eyes, look at me with sadness and pain. I started to run, but the pain, it hurt too much and I just fell. I looked down to see the blood rushing out of my torso.
"Chat?" I said weakly.
I looked around to see Alya with a blade and an evil smirk.
I yelled "Lucky Charm!" And a red and black spotted cloth fell into my hands. I wrapped the cloth around my bloody waist, whimpering in pain.
With all of the strength I could muster up, I ran to my kitty and untied him. I felt cold hands wrap around me. It hurt, but I needed to feel my kitty again. I felt all of the sadness and anger inside me finally fade away as my kitty was finally saved.
"M'lady" He said faintly. I looked into his eyes, wishing I could stay like this, and never look away. "T-the akuma" He said, bringing me back into the real world. The world where there's danger in the air and I can't spend every waking moment with Chat.
I turned back to Alya, my anger once again returning. I walked up to her and let all of my anger out with a single blow. I hit her hard, knocking her out. I grabbed the akumatized object and released the dark butterfly.
I carefully took the cloth off and threw it into the air, yelling my catchphrase. Chat walked up to me, tears threatening to fall out of his eyes. He transformed back into Adrien and took off his jacket, wrapping it around my waist after I transformed back.
"M'lady, I'm so sorry" He said. "It should have been me" He whispered, looking away from my eyes.
I carefully stood up. "Look I'm fine, don't ever say something like that again." I comanded. "We need to make sure your friend Felix is ok" I said.
"W-what?" He asked, looking into my eyes, a little bit of anger in his voice.
"One of your friends, Felix, I needed him to find you" I replied.
"Hello Adrien" Felix said, walking towards us. Adrien stared at the blonde with pure hatred. He ran towards the boy, tackling him and punching him repeatedly.
"A-adrien! Stop!" I cried, running up to the two boys. I wrapped my arms around Adrien, trying to pull him off of Felix. Adrien pushed me off of him and got off of the blonde boy.
Adrien looked over to me and helped me up "I-I'm sorry Mari" He said.
"Adrien" I said sternly. "What is happening?" I asked.

Adrien pov

M'lady carefully stood up. "Look I'm fine, don't ever say something like that again." She commanded. "We need to check up on Felix"
"W-what?" I asked with anger, cringing at the name Felix. Why is she speaking of him out of all people.
"One of your friends, Felix, I needed him to find you" She replied. I gave her a discussed look as she said that's me and Felix are friends.
"Hello Adrien" A familiar voice said. Hatred bubbled up and without thinking I tackled the boy to the floor.
"A-adrien! Stop!" Marinette yelled as she wrapped her arms around me to pull me off of the boy. I pushed her off and stood up, pushing myself off of the boy.
"I-I'm sorry Mari" I said as I noticed her laying on the floor. I helped her up.
"Adrien" Marinette said with anger. She stared her blue eyes into mine intensely. "What is happening?" She asked slowly.
"This is none of your business, now go" Felix said, glaring at Marinette.
I pushed Felix to the ground "Don't talk to her like that!" I commanded.
"Adrien, stop!" She yelled at me. I stared at her inoccently. "Now tell me what's happening!" She yelled, her eyes sparking with anger and tears. I wrapped my arms her waist and pulled her close. She pushed me away, not once taking her teary eyes off of me.
I took a deep shaky breath. "That, is my brother, I wish he wasn't, but Felix is my brother." I said. She stared at me with shock.
"You have a brother and never told me?" She asked with tears falling down her face.
"I'm sorry Mari" I said grabbing her hand. "I love you so much, but I didn't think it would be important to tell you since I thought I would never see him again." I said kissing her soft hands.
"Oh please, save it brother, you don't really love her, don't break a beautiful girls heart" Felix said. Marinette blushed at the 'beautiful girl' part.
"Yes I do love her, and you better stay away from her!" I yelled, pulling Marinette closer to me defensively.
"Just wait, another girl will come along, and you'll completely forget about her" Felix said.
"There never will be another girl, Mari is the only girl I need in my life" I said. Marinette looked at me and smiled with a light blush dusting across her cheeks. She squeezed my waist tightly.
"What if leaving her could get mom back" Felix said. I stared at him with awe as he mentioned our mom. I would do anything to get mom back, anything that doesn't involve hurting Marinette.
"No, I would never betray M'lady" I said while transforming into Chat Noir. A bright light engulfed my body and left me in a black suit. I picked Marinette up bridal style and ran her back to her house. I layed her down on her bed and transformed back into Adrien. I stared at her as she looked up to the ceiling with her beautiful indigo blue eyes in pain.
I grabbed some supplies from her kitchen and stitched up her cut before wrapping it.
"Adrien" she said still staring at the ceiling. I replied with a "hm"
"Come closer" she replied. I leaned in closer so that our noses were touching and our lips were just an inch away, too far for my liking. "I've waited so long for this" she said as she placed her lips upon mine. I climbed on top of her and ran my hands through her hair. I missed this, I missed the feeling of her lips on mine, her hands in my hair and on my back. I missed the feeling of her soft blue hair, and the amazing smell of cookies she always had from working in the bakery. She pulled me closer and begged for my attention, she desired my lips.
"Me-ow, someone missed me" I said with my signature super annoying smirk.
"Not gonna argue with that" she replied before once again smashing her soft pink lips onto mine, but I pulled away.
"We really should get to bed" I said, looking at the clock which read 3:36 a.m.
"Your such a tease, kitty" she said as I laid next to her. I wrapped my arms around her waist and nuzzled my face into her shoulder which was surrounded by hair.
"Je t'aime princess" I whispered into her ear.
"Je t'aime kitty" she whispered back.
For the first time in a long time, I think that everything is going to be ok. I have the most perfect girl I've ever seen laying right next me, and thats all I care about. I have a feeling that everything will finally be ok for once, but I could be wrong.
