"A-adrien?" I mumbled. I slowly opened my eyes to see the empty spot next to me. I walked over to my desk to see a note saying
Hey mari, sorry I left early. Nino said he needed to talk to me really badly, see you later at school! Btw, our excuse for where I was is at a photoshoot in New York
- Adrien
I quickly got dressed and packed my bag.
"Bye mama, bye papa!" I yelled as I grabbed some pastries for me and my friend who instantly greeted me as I swung open the door.
"So, did you and Adrien have fun last night? Where is the blonde?" Alya asked.
"He left before I woke up, he said Nino wanted to talk to him" I answered.
"What did you two do before he left?" Alya asked with an evil smirk.
"Alya!" I yelled as my face lit up red.
"I wouldn't be surprised!" Alya said, making me blush even harder as we walked onto school property. I spotted a certain blonde boy talking to his dark skinned friend and another familiar blonde boy, and he did not look happy. The boy spotted me and walked towards me after saying one last thing to the other boys.
"Hey Mari!" He said, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked, lacing my fingers with his.
"Nothing" He replied.
"Adrien, stop lying to me" I demanded.
"My brother is moving to this school" Adrien signed.
"Isn't that a good thing?" I asked. "More friends, right?" I suggested.
"No, b-because, well, h-he, uh-"
"Your afraid he's gonna steal me from you?" I giggled.
"Y-yeah" Adrien said, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Nice to know how much you trust me" I said, as I turned my back from him and walked off to class.
"Wait, Mari don't be mad" Adrien pleaded. I struggled to keep in my laugh as he begged for my forgiveness.
"I'm not mad, just sad that you don't trust me" I said, trying very hard to keep a straight face, but I failed. I made a small giggle. I felt a pair of warm arms wrapped around my waist.
"Come on Mari" Adrien whispered into my ear with a deep voice. I giggled even more, and he kissed my neck before grabbing my hand and pulling me to class. We got to class late and had to sneak into class, but we didn't go unnoticed. I tripped, throwing all of my stuff everywhere. I forced my eyes shut, waiting for the impact of the hard ground, but instead felt warm comforting arms wrapped around me again. When he pulled me up, I opened my eyes expecting to see Adrien, but instead I saw yet another familiar blonde.
"Oh, hi Felix! S-sorry I t-tripped" I stuttered.
"Don't worry about, I'm happy to help such a beautiful girl" Felix replied. I blushed and walked over to my seat, and tapped Adrien on the shoulder who was giving Felix an evil stare.
He then turned his attention to me, giving me the same evil glare, then back to Felix. He grabbed Felix's shirt and pulled him close to him.
"Stay away from my girl" Adrien said sternly. He was showing a very angry and vicious side of him that I've never seen.
"Hey, Adrien, calm down!" I whisper yelled, shoving him gently on the shoulder.

Adrien pov

"Hey, Adrien, calm down!" Marinette yelled at me as she gently pushed my shoulder. I turned back to her and gave her an apologetic smile, before turning back to the teacher. The whole class, I didn't pay attention, I instead thought of my brother stealing m'lady from me.
"Marinette and Felix" I herd the teacher say, earning my full attention. "For the second to last group, and Adrien and Alya for the last group" she continued.
I looked over to my brother who had an devilish smile on his face.
"Excuse me miss, can we change partners?" I asked.
"No Adrien, I already said no changing partners!" The teacher yelled. I noticed slight annoyance in her voice. I felt someone kick my chair and I turned back to see Alya, who looked very angry.
"Thanks, I hate you too!" She whisper shouted.
"No, it's not you, I just don't want Marinette with him" I replied, glancing back to the blonde boy.
"Adrien, you can trust me" Marinette said as she grabbed my hands and gave me a reassuring squeeze. I stared into her beautiful blue eyes for a second, until I caught another person come into my view.
"Excuse me, it's my turn to be with my partner" I heard another voice say. My eyes drifted from Marinette's beautiful blue eyes, to yet another pair of blue eyes. Alya sat in the seat next to me, and Felix slid in next to Marinette.
I turned back to Alya with another apologetic smile as I said "So what is this about, I wasn't paying attention?" I asked. The red head sighed and explained the project to me. I drifted off, staring at Felix and Marinette who were laughing and having a good time.
"Adrien!" Alya snapped. I turned back to the angry red head. "Your thinking about her, right?" Alya asked. My cheeks burned red and I nodded. "I can't talk to any of you because you never listen! Your just always thinking about each other! You two really are made for each other!" Alya sighed.
"Not my fault she's so purrr-fect" I replied with a smirk.
"Adrien, your Chat is showing" Alya said while giggling.
The bell rang, signaling the end of the day. "Meet me at my house later?" I asked Alya, and she nodded. I grabbed my stuff and turned to Marinette and Felix.
"My house later?" Felix asked her.
"Um, sure" Marinette replied before turning to me. "Hey Adrien, ready to go?" She asked me. I nodded with a smile before grabbing her hand and lacing my fingers with hers.

I followed Marinette into her bakery, the bell rang as she pushed the door open. Marinette grabbed a silver plate of sweets ranging from cookies to cupcakes, croissants and macaroons, that all made my stomach growl. I eagerly followed Marinette up the stairs to her room.
"I going to Felix -or, uh, your house soon, what should I wear?" Marinette asked.
"What you have on now is fine" I said.
"I can't wear this!" She said as if I was supposed to know this.
"Why not? You need to dress up to go visit my brother?" I snapped.
"Yes" she replied sarcastically with an eye roll.
"So, Alya said you think about me alot" I said, trying to change the subject.
"And I know you think about me too Kitty" Marinette replied, lightly tapping my nose with her finger. Her phone buzzed and she turned it on with a frown. "I gotta go, Felix wants me over now" she said.
"Let me take you, we can pick up Alya on the way" I offered.
"Let's go!" She said cheerfully.

We walked into my large, yet mainly empty house. My house, as I said before, is very large, and it is full of useless artifacts that my dad bought to show off our families richness. To me it's all useless and I would get rid of it in a heartbeat, but Marinette and Alya seemed to be interested by the scenery. My house has everything, but the one thing I want the most, a really family, love, care. I heard the soft click of heels coming down the stairs.
"Adrien, your father said no friends over this week" Nathalie said as she continued down the stairs, another pair of shoes followed behind with a thud.
"Their here for a project" I replied.
"Okay" she sighed before walking away.
"Mari, you can come to my room" Felix said. I was about to correct him, when Marinette spoke up.
"It's Marinette, only Adrien and Alya cam call me that" she said. Marinette looked over to me, giving me an 'I told you I can handle this' look.
"Why not boo?" He said, using my signiture annoying smirk.
"Also, don't call me that, let's just stick with Marinette" she said as she followed him upstairs.
