He's Lying

Amanda's Pov:
It was the next morning and I woke up to the sound of the tv still running. I looked around and noticed that I was still on the floor with Luke. His arms we're still around me as he was still sound asleep. Did we really lay on the floor all night long?! I tried to slowly release myself from his arms but there was no progress.

"Mm.. no stay here." Luke mumbled. I looked back over as he buried his messed up hair into my neck. "Luke.." I began. "Hm?" He asked with his eyes still shut. "We layed on the floor all night.. I need to get up." I said.

Luke finally opened his eyes and looked over at me. His eyes widened as he scooted back a little. "Oh my God I'm so sorry!" He said. "For what?" I asked. He had panic written all over his face. "I made you sleep on the floor." He said feeling guilty. I smiled. "Luke, it's fine haha." I chuckled. "No it's not." He said standing up. I stood up myself. "Really it's no big deal. I'm okay haha." I said.

I watched as he put his hand on his forehead then brushing it through his messy hair in distress. "Are you sure?" He sighed. I nodded my head. "Yes, Luke haha." I said. Why is he freaking out? I wasn't sure of what to do so I grabbed his hand. Wait.. I grabbed his hand.. we cuddled.. am I falling for Luke?!

Luke's Pov:
I truly felt guilty for falling asleep on the floor. Why didn't she just wake me up? She could've just slept in my bed and I sleep on the couch.. She grabbed my hand and I felt a little better. I wanted so badly to tell her how I felt, but now I was terrified. She said it wasn't a big deal. But it was.. a guy shouldn't make a girl sleep on the floor.

I've got to admit.. It felt great to have her in my arms. I guess that's why I fell asleep so fast..

I took a seat on the couch as she did the same. "Something wrong?" She asked. "Uh.. no.. everything is fine." I said with a small smile. She looked at me with doubt. "Come on.. talk to me. I know something's wrong. What is it?" She asked. I was a complete wreck now. Should I tell her? No.. Wait yes.. wait.. no.. ugh here goes nothing..

"Amanda?" I began. "Yeah?" She asked. I looked at her black eye and then bit my lip. "You know I would never hurt you right?" I asked. "I know.. I trust you.." she said. Oh my God.. thank God.. "I would do whatever it takes to make you happy.." I said. She smiled and looked down as she twittled her fingers together. "And.." I paused. She looked back up. This is my chance. Come on, Luke! "And I like you.." I finished.

Another smile appeared on her face. "I like you too, Luke." She said. Yes! "Really?" I asked. "Really." She chuckled. "So.. I guess what I was trying to say is.. I mean ask is.. w-will you be my girlfriend?" I stuttered. She was looking at me and I wasn't sure of what to feel or say. "Of course I will, Luke." She said.

Amanda's Pov:
Oh. My. God. Did. This. Just. Happen? The hottest guy in school just asked me to be his girlfriend! Someone pinch me I'm dreaming!

I could tell Luke was nervous. The only thing was, I was nervous too. A lot nervous! I've never seen Luke act this way though. It was just something about it that I really liked. He was sweet around me. He always checked to see if I'm okay. He always stares at me... Am I really his girlfriend now?

What do I do now? Oh my God this is getting awkward now.. "Luke?" I asked. He looked back up at me with a smile now. "Yeah?" He asked. "I.. I just.." I paused. "Yeah?" He asked. I could feel his face getting closer to mine. Uh oh.. are we about to kiss?! Is this real?! I'm certainly dreaming this! I could now feel his breath hit my top lip. I closed my eyes and in no time, I felt his lips touch mine.

I'M NOT DREAMING! THIS IS NOT A DREAM! THIS IS REAL! OH MY GOD!! OKAY OKAY BREATHE AMANDA BREATHE!

I didn't want to let go of the kiss and Luke seemed to have felt the same way. There was a knock on the door and Michael and Calum walked in. "What the hell?!" Yelled Michael. I jumped from being startled and fell on the floor. "So this is why you don't have time for us isn't it?" He asked.
