As I walked through the front door of my house I was welcomed with a surprise party that all my friends hosted for me returning home and being able to go back to normal.
"Ahh guys, this is amazing! Whose idea was it?" I asked curiously.
"It was me!" Dino shouted as he came running towards me and engulfed me in a hug.
The room filled with laughter. As I turned to hug Jason I noticed he was giving Dino a dirty look and Dino was giving him the finger.
"Uh em.....what seems to be the problem here boys?" I asked agitation clear in my voice.
"Nothing babe" Jason replied
"Don't lie to her Jason, not like that's stopped you before" Dino remarked
"Oh please Dino, the whole reason you planned this surprise party for Brooke is because your not over her yet, and you can't handle the fact that her and I are together, am I right or am I right?" Jason exclaimed in a cocky tone.
"Don't you even get me started on you Jason, if it were up to everyone in this room you'd be out of that door faster than lightning!" Dino shouted.
"Don't make threats you won't be able to fulfill Dino!" Jason pointed.
"You know what, you don't deserve Brooke after everything you've done, your using her to fulfill your guilty conscience after what you did to her. You feel that her accident was a sign that you should try again, instead of telling her the truth you hurt her with a lie." Dino informs Jason in a loud aggravated tone.
Jason lifts his fist in a fast motion and plunges towards Dino about to hit him before he is interrupted.
"Guys calm down, stop ruining Brooke party! How old are you, three?" Hunter bellowed.
Both Jason and Dino looked at Hunter In shock then turned their attention to me, where I stood there crying. All I did was look at them for a few seconds before I ran upstairs and into my room and locked the door behind me.
"Look what you idiots have done!" Ari and Lexi say in unison.
"Someone should go upstairs and see if she's okay." Marcus suggests.
Seconds later I hear Jason and Dino arguing just outside the door.
"Just go away Dino, you've hurt her enough."
"Shut the hell up Jason, in all the 4 years, 7 months and 3 days we were together I didn't cheat on Brooke with a skank, then wait for her to get amnesia to try my luck again."
"Well you still broke her heart when you broke up with her!"
"You don't know anything Jason, we broke up the first time because we knew long distance relationships wouldn't work, we thought we were going to different schools, on opposite sides of the world, but then she ended up coming to the same school as me. The second time both her and I decided it would be better if we broke up because things just weren't working out. I was heartbroken when we broke up, I've never stopped loving her okay, so you better get your ass downstairs and out the door because you've hurt Brooke enough!"
I couldn't take the bickering anymore so I swung the door open, which made a loud bang that caught both of their attention. They both turned their heads to my direction is surprise.
"Okay, I've had just about enough of both of you, now we are going to sort this out right here, right now. Starting with Dino. Dino, what's your problem with Jason, be honest, no more lies, I want the truth now!" I exclaimed.
Dino's eyes were open wide in shock....he was frozen, like he didn't know what to do or what to say, he turned his head to look at Jason before he faced me and shrugged before he decided to speak.
"Uh, the truth huh?" He asked in a serious tone.
"Yes, now." I replied
"Okay, give me two seconds, I've just got to run down stairs for a second." He informs
Before I could even say no, he was halfway down the stairs.
"Get back here Dino!" I yell
Roger POV
I hear Dino run down the stairs and Brooke yelling at him to get back upstairs. Seconds later he stands in front of Bailey and myself, and begins to speak.
"Um, Mr and Mrs Shaw, what must I do, I didn't intend for it to become a fight, but Jason just kept pushing my buttons. Do I tell her the truth about what Jason did or not? Either way it will hurt her if I don't and it would hurt her if I do." He says with sadness in his voice.
I turn to look at Bailey and she winks at me and nods.
"Uh Dino. Rather not, myself and Bailey will go up and tell her with Jason, that way you aren't apart of it and she wont hate you."
"Okay, I'm just going to go upstairs to tell her I can't answer her."
"Perfect, when you come down we will go up and speak to her."
Seconds later Dino is storming back up the stairs.
Brooke POV
Where is Dino? Jason is looking at me so worried?
"I'm back!" Dino yells before he's even on the top floor.
"Finally!" Jason exclaims, throwing his hand in the air in frustration.
"Oh please, calm yourself." Dino remarks
All I do is roll my eyes assuring them I'm annoyed. Before I speak.
"So, Dino, I asked you a question?"
"Oh yea, I'm not the one who should tell you. I don't want to be the one who hurts you. Brooke all I'm going to say is, I didn't want any of this to happen and I'm really sorry." Dino says with sadness filling his voice and his whole facial expression.
What the hell?
"Dino, what are you talking about?" I ask with confusion .
But he's already walking away, he turns back acknowledging he heard me and then he speaks, "it's not my place, ask Jason." With that he waves goodbye as he continues downstairs.
