Ariana ;

Pulling into my parking space, I slumped in my seat.

I could not stop thinking about Justin. We literally spent three hours together yesterday, and now I can't get him out of my head.

It scared me.

I've never been this hung up on someone, ever before. And I don't want to start now.

I had to learn the hard way, about what 'love' has to offer. I've seen it break apart my parents. I've seen it crush my brother, and now he's gay.

Not that I'm against it, I love him no matter what.

I lost the guy I fell in love with two years ago, the guy that took my virginity. He left me, and moved to another state.

And it took away my favorite person ever, my grandpa.

Love is for suckers.

And I will not let myself fall back into it's twisted sick ways.

"Hey, you okay?," Lexi's voice snapped me out of my emotional thoughts.

I smiled faintly.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I lie, unbuckling my seatbelt.

I step out, grabbing my Michael Kors purse, and grabbing my rose gold iPhone 6s.

Walking up to the school, Derek approached me. "Hey gorgeous," he greeted.

 "Hey gorgeous," he greeted

"Hey," I said.

"What's happened?," he asked, grabbing my hands, entwining our fingers.

I sighed, and pulled away.

"Nothing Derek, just stop," I said.

He seemed taken back by my tone, by for God's sake, he doesn't need to be all up in my business 24/7!

It's not like he's my boyfriend!–

Oh wait..

Shit.

"I gotta go to my locker," I lie, and he nods.

"Okay baby, I'll see you in lunch," he says, kissing my forehead softly.

I wrap one hand around his neck, and pull him down, standing on my tippy toes, I kiss him softly.

He wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. Once I pull away, he's already grinning like a fool.

I smile and shake my head.

"Bye Derek," I say, and he licks his lips. I grab Lexi's hand, and we began walking up to the school doors.

"Bye sweetness," he calls, making my cheeks heat.

"That boy is truly a fool for you Ari," Lexi says, and I fake a laugh.

"Yeah.. he is," I say.

"I'll see you later," she says, walking towards the cafeteria.

I furrow my eyebrows.

"Where are you going?," I ask.

"I forgot about my breakfast detention," she said.

"Breakfast detention?," I ask.

"Yeah, cuz we usually leave for lunch, and I have stuff to do after school, so they gave me breakfast detention," she explained.

"Oh.. okay, bye Lexi," I wave, stopping at my locker.

I do the combination, and open it, grabbing my Physics, and World Geography books.

I grab the binders that go with them, and struggle to hold them all. Usually Derek carries them.

I shut it back, and jump when I see Justin. "Shit, you scared me," I say.

He smiles.

"Want some help?," he asks.

He's being strangely nice today..

"Sure," I say, only for him to grab all my stuff.

"I'll walk you to class?," he offered.

"Okay, what's up?," I stopped in front of him.

"What's up with what?," he asked.

"What's up with you, being nice to me?," I raised an eyebrow.

"I can't be nice to a pretty girl?," he asked.

I raised both my eyebrows, staring at him, unphased by his petty compliments.

"Justin," I say.

"Fine.. I can't make it after school today, I've got stuff to take care of," he says.

"What kind of stuff?," I press.

"What kind of stuff?," I press

"Just stuff," he snaps.

I bite my bottom lip, taken back by his harsh tone. "Okay," I mumble, grabbing my books back.

"Ariana," he sighs, but I continue to walk away.

"Bye Justin," I say, keeping my eyes forward.
