Will and Val were dancing, they had never really danced in public among his friends or hers. She had to admit she liked the way he moved. Once they got to slow dancing that is where things became intense. Will looked at her with those eyes. Val blushed knowing exactly what he was thinking she looked up into his eyes and kissed him. It was then that Will kissed her passionately; Val could feel his need and grabbed his hand.
Val walked with him to his bedroom. She opened the door and he grabbed her close kissing her. "I've never seen you so hot before."
"There's something I wanna talk to you about. You remember our anniversary when you said when I am ready to come to you that I should ask you." Will went to his dresser pulling out the ring box, but not letting her see it.
Val nodded she was mortified. Will kneeled before her. "Will you marry me Val?" He opened the box.
Looking at the ring she was speechless. Val held out her hand Will slipped on the ring. He came off his knee and she looked at it.
"Well?" He was smiling at it on her finger.
Val started to cry, that wasn't the response Will was looking for. "Please don't be angry. But can you give me some time. I'm not saying no I just need some time okay. I got to go."
"Val, please tell me what is wrong?" He didn't understand.
When she went to the door he stopped her. "Please let me go. I need to go." Val pleaded with him.
He started to kiss her, loving her, but she wouldn't let him. She fought him off. "Please leave me alone."
Will let her go as the tears streamed down her face. He called to her once she was outside the door. Will seen Liz, "Val is this what you want?" He kissed Liz, she wrapped her arms around him and he pulled her into his bedroom.
Val seen him go with Liz it only hurt her more. She ran home, Caitlin seen her and saw her crying. Val ran up the stairs as Caitlin followed her into her bedroom.
"Val what is wrong?" Caitlin came to her. Val was in a puddle of tears. She was crying so hard that Caitlin tried to ease her pain.
"He proposed and I love him so much. But I promised myself long ago after my divorce that I would never marry again. I'm pregnant, Caitlin. He doesn't know but I don't know what to do." She wiped her eyes.
"Take a rest and just think about it. He loves you, Val. So deeply this must have set him back some that's a 24k gold diamond ring surrounded by blue sapphires." Caitlin loved the ring.
"I think he hates me and he went with another girl. I don't deserve him." Val laid on her bed crying.
"Oh honey get some sleep." Caitlin said leaving her alone.
The kids looked at Caitlin. "Your mom try not and bother her she had a real bad day.
Caitlin didn't make any sense to Megan. So after she left Megan went to see her mother. She saw the beautiful ring and knew what had happened.
Val was in an unresponsive state. She saw her mother close her eyes and drift off to sleep. Tomorrow she would have a talk with Will.
