I've lost count of the hours due to all my tears. It started to go dark and I knew Hades workers will be prowling around soon. Jur lifted his head off my lap and started to growl. "What is it boy? Whats wrong?"

He lept away from me and pounced on something in the bushes. "Get off of me!" A man shouted. I got up and pulled Jur off to see my dad there.

"What do you want?" I sniffled.

He got up and hugged me. "Aphrodite wanted me to look for you because you ran out crying. She felt kind of bad and gave me two hundred dracmas to give to you."

My eyes widened. "Th-thats three hundred dracmas in total. N-no one has p-payed me that much for such a little thing." Jur growled softly, but laid down. "So why did you come after me after all these years? I mean look at me! I live in a tree and I've had this dress since I was six!" I felt a tear run down my cheek.

"I'm sorry Aldara, I really am. Its just when you were born, I wasn't able to watch take care of you. But the only reason why I put you in slavery is because the rest of the gods thought you had potential so all these years they wanted to see what you could do. I must say, as a daughter of mine, you're pretty impressive." He smiled. I could only stare at him. "I got you something." He let go of me and held out a dress. My mouth dropped. It was a pretty silverish dress with gold outlines and a golden sash.

"Dad, I love it!" I smiled.

"Try it on, not in front of me." He gave me the dress and I hid behind a few trees.

It fit perfectly surprisingly. It kind of stuck to my curves and went a little above my knees. It looked more like a short skirt dress than a dress. I stepped out from behind the trees and smiled. "So, how do I look?"

"Like a goddess." He smiled and hugged me. "You do realize that since you're fifteen you'll have to take a test to see what you'll be known as."

I looked at him and frowned. "But why? I mean I'm a demigod, theres no way I'll be able to be known as something other than a slave."

"Thats what the test is for, if you pass you'll be out of slavery. If not well you get the idea." He gave me a small box. "Don't open it till you know when you need this box." I was confused then looked at the box. When I looked up he was gone. I sighed and walked to the market with Jur by my side. I can get some cloth before the store closes, then I can run home.

Once I got there I got a few cloth rolls and payed for them. As I was leaving I bumped into someone and landed on the floor. "Ow! What the?" I looked up and saw Ezio.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!" He helped me off the ground and picked up the cloth. I glared at him, but smiled. "What are doing out so late?"

"I went to get some cloth for something, and my dad...." I paused. Ezio was staring at me. Come to think of it, he wasn't even looking in my eyes. "Hey, my eyes are up here, not down there." I walked around him and out the store. The nerve.

"Wait! Aldara please!" He called and ran after me. "C'mon, why are you giving me the cold shoulder all of a sudden?"

"Well, I'm dating someone and I don't think your girlfriend would like you hanging around me." I kept walking. "Now if you don't mind, I'm going home." I ran off with Jur following me leaving Ezio standing there.
