Mountains of papers scattered around the mahogany table, the room was dark and cold. The air smelled like fresh wood while a deep, strong and muscular scent coated the man in the middle of the room.

His eyes glared holes into the paper and his brows furrowed in concentration when suddenly, a knock came from the other side of the door.

"Come in," he said with a firm voice.  Hearing footsteps approaching, he gave a brief glance to the man with shaggy brown hair and dark eyes.

"Alpha Grey, there seems to be a certain problem down by the river. Human sightings have been seen near the river.  Particularly the area where rogues reside." His beta, Luke Orvicii, stated in a respectful manner.

There was a moment of silence between them.

"Bring the human to me."

She jumped from one boulder to another while she balancing herself, the crystal clear water was tempting her to dip her feet in and feel the cold gush of water.  However, her curiosity of what's on the other side of the river kept gnawing on her mind. The forest looked different from her forest; it was dark and had a strange atmosphere around it.  Although doubtful, she kept leaping from boulder to boulder.

Slowly, she reached to the other side and was about to walk further when suddenly, a pebble was thrown at her and hit her on the arm. Her senses heightened and adrenaline started coursing through her.

She had an uneasy feeling and turned around, as an owl hooted from the distance, she suddenly felt cold and the hairs at the back of her neck stood. A low growl came from behind her, turning around she saw a huge black wolf with red eyes and foam around its mouth.

Her heartbeat accelerated, she backed away slowly but the wolf snapped its jaw at her, as if telling her not to run.

She didn't care.

Turning around, she high tailed away from there.  Jumping from one boulder to another, she noticed something about the wolf. She observed the wolf and caught on to what it was doing and dived into the river.

It's avoiding the water.

The wolf whimpered and growled at the same time, she smirked and swam further away from the wolf. But her smile soon vanished because the wolf jumped into the water and swam towards her. She didn't have a choice but to get onto the surface and run as fast as she can.

She ran like she never ran before and she could hear its paws dragging onto the ground, harsh breathing and angry growls coming from behind her. It was gaining on her, tears brimmed on the corners of her eyes and she pushed herself to the limit, her legs froze and she fell down. The wolf howled and was about to jump on her when a brown wolf came and bit its neck.

She watched as they snarled their sharp teeth and growled, snapping at each other. The brown wolf looked much bigger and stronger. The black wolf took the first action and jumped but the brown wolf was quick as it bit moved to the side and bit its neck and throwing it to the other side and a loud crack was heard.

No movement. It was dead.

The brown wolf slowly walked towards her and she closed her eyes. She could feel it breathing near her face when suddenly, something wet nudged the side of her face.  Slowly opening her eyes, she watched as the wolf look at her and ducked down.

She tilted her head to the side and the wolf whined, shoving his body towards her, as if asking her to ride him.

"Do you want me to get up on your back?" she asked, hesitantly. The wolf nodded and howled. She was a bit freaked out that it could understand her but didn't think much about it, since it did save her life. She slowly went on its back and held onto its neck as he slowly got up and dashed as fast quick as lightning.

She closed her eyes and in a few minutes, the wolf stopped and she opened her eyes, right infront of her was a beautiful house made out of wood. She slowly got down from the wolf and it nudge her towards the house.

She walked further towards the house when suddenly the door opened and there was a guy with shaggy brown hair and dark eyes. He was attractive, with broad shoulders and defined jaw, he looked to be almost 19 or 20. She was staring at him for so long until he cleared his throat and she blushed profusely.

"sorry..." she said awkwardly and looked down.

"It's alright, why are you here?" he said to her and she peeked up at him from under her lashes. Then, she remembered the wolf!

"Well, there was.." she turned around and the wolf was gone. Confused, she turned around and the guy was smiling at her, showing two dimples just around the corner of his lips. She swooned a bit and mentally drooled.

"Maybe you should come inside, it's not safe here when it's dark." he said while motioning for her to come in. She knew it was wrong to trust this stranger but she came this far, what's the worst that could happen.

She timidly walked inside and was greeted with beautiful pictures and a wood staircase, spiraling up to wherever it went. Pictures were hung on every wall and the floor was furnished with clear white tiles. She was ogling at everything because it was just so beautiful.

"You should sit down and have some tea." he smiled at her as he guided her towards the living room where there was a big, brown leather sofa with a flat screen TV that was so big, it was almost the size of a small home cinema.

She stayed quiet and waited for him. When suddenly, there was a loud bang coming from upstairs and she flinched. A man came bounding down the stairs and stared at her. He was handsome and gorgeous at the same time. Dark black hair, broad shoulders and muscular as hell. She swear her heart stopped, she was sure her mouth was open wide and there was a little drool on the corner of her lip.

She didn't expect the guy to come and pick her up, crushing her against him. She didn't expect him to nuzzle his head into the crook of her neck and inhale her as if she was his last source of oxygen.

"MINE!" he all but yelled.

She certainly didn't expect that.
