Warning you right now, kind of a sad chapter

I jerk awake as a piece of paper hit the back of my head. The paper ball lands on the bottom of my chair and I twist around slightly, reaching behind me for the paper. I blink the blurriness from my eyes and read the note.

Even tho u look cute sleeping, Marcinak is gonna chew ur ass up if u fall asleep

I scribble a reply and crumple the paper back up, knowing exactly who threw this at me. Turning around, I throw the ball at Jacob, sticking my tongue out at him when it hits his forehead.

He reads the note and smirks at me. Jacob writes back and the paper is back in front of me. I read the conversation.

Take a picture, it'll last longer. Marcinak can chew her own ass for all I care.

Tru tru. U hav 2 master the art of being subtle, young padowan. Barbie is gonna blow a brain cell. Look.

I look up and see Barbie sitting by the windows reflecting the stormy weather, glaring at me, her face red and her teeth clenched. Maybe she's jealous because she doesn't have an awesome outfit today. It must be pretty boring, wearing the same thing everyday.

He laughs at that, causing the whole class to look back at him, including the devil herself.

"Care to share what was so funny it was worth interrupting class, Mr. Casanova?" Marcinak snaps at him.

"Well, if you call having a sticky note taped to your turtle-shell back so funny, then it's damn worth interrupting class." I gasp as what he says and give him an incredulous look. He smiles smugly at me.

Marcinak shrieks and turns around, trying to see if what Jacob said is true. This results in her looking like an idiot and kids pulling their phones out to capture the hilarious sight.

I kind of feel bad for her, however. She is a terrible teacher but she tries. The bell rings, forcing my classmates to stop recording and go to their next class.

"That was awesome, but not very nice." I snigger when I catch up with Jacob. "That was some pretty impressive things you said back there, Casanova."

"Thank you. Please hold your applause. I'm here until Thursday." He bows and waves, heading in the opposite direction.

I head to my locker and spin my combination in, still smiling, and thrust my books into the locker. I put my chemistry book in my bag and shut my locker, turning around and nearly running into someone.

"Watch it, freak." Her snobby voice makes its way to my poor ears and I'm shoved back to the row of lockers.

"It's not my fault you're breathing down my neck, honey." I snap at her, already fed up with her antics.

"It's not my fault you're an attention seeking $łųť. Whøŕíńģ around first with my boyfriend and then his best friend?" She scoffs at me.

I gape at her. "Me, whøřïñģ around? You think I'm being a šłůť? Have you looked in the mirror of your past lately?" I spit out at her.

She gasps and slaps me. ''How dare you speak to me like that. I can make your life-"

"A living hell. I know, you gave me that speech already. Give it a break." I counter.

Barbie shoves me against a locker and her eyes narrow. "Remember what I said at the party? Stay away from my boyfriend and stay away from any guy for that matter. We don't want you to end up like your poor sister now, do we?" She threatens.

"How- how do y-you know about he-" I stutter.

"I know a few people. Not it would be a complete shame if that happened to you and I really don't want murder on my record, do you?" She sneers.
