Party outfit. Tattoo is last chapter. Sorry^^^>>>>
I skip gym seeing as I've already missed more than half of it. Instead, I will around the vast hallways, watching pieces of paper float around and dance in the slightly breezy hallways. By the time the bell rings, I have memorized the routes to my whole schedule.
The hallways soon fill with people struggling to run out of school like a mad man. I, however, am not part of the majority. I fight the current of students to get to my locker and latch on the lock when I get there. With people elbowing their way past me, it takes a couple of tries to open my locker. When I finally do, I dump everything on the shelves as I have no homework. Teachers can actually be nice once in a while.
I pull my phone out and text Cara, asking where to meet her. She's quick to reply.
Cara
Meet me @ the front office. Near the door.
I try to make my way to the office but find myself utterly lost. I look at the signs on the wall and groan when I realize I'm in the science hallways. I take out my phone and call Cara.
"Hey Cara. You wanna do me a favor?" I ask in an overly sweet voice.
"Uh oh. What do you want?" I hear her groan but can picture her smiling.
"You wanna tell me where the heck I'm going?"
"Depends. Where are you?" I hear footsteps and turn around, looking for anyone but spotting no one.
"Science hallway." I hear more footsteps but still see no one. "Can you tell me the way?"
"Yeah. Walk until the hallway splits to three separate ones and turn left. Then take a right and keep walking straight."
I follow her instructions and pass hallways and closets, but no doors. "Are you sure Cara? I don't see a-'' a hand shoots out and grabs on to my arm, dragging me inside a closet. I open my mouth to scream but a hands covers my mouth as well.
The person drags ms into the closet while I try to kick them and thrash out of their hold. I hear the door slam close and darkness surrounds me. The only sounds are my harsh breathing and the light fall of someone else's breathing. I could faintly hear Cara's voice coming through the phone past the door. "Who's there?" I squint into the dark and make out an oddly shaped shadow across from me. "Who are you?"
"It doesn't matter who I am." A high pitched voice shrills out.
"Ah, barbie! How are you?" I quickly recognize the voice and grin. Who knew Barbie could be strong-ish. "I've missed you."
She snorts. "Listen newbie. You need to know where your place is. Just because you think you're so high and mighty now doesn't mean after this little party you will be. I'm on top and you better get that in your head before I have to do something about it."
"And, pray tell. What would you do? Strut around in that sad excuse of a uniform you have to wear and cheer to me? Try and hook up with Xavier? I don't care, do it. You're the śłúť here, not me. Have fun." I hear her gasp and a loud slap sounds, followed by a stinging sensation that travels through my cheek.
A metallic taste fills my mouth. Did she just...? ''You better watch it barbie-"
"Or what? You'll continue to make me jealous by being a social outcast? You'll try to make me jealous by not being with Xavier, the hottest guy here? So what if you live with him, I do so much more. So back off and stay away from whats mine before it gets ugly, because it will get worse than you." She sneers and I hear the door open. ''You're just jealous because Xavier likes me and not you. Why would he want someone like you, with your past?" She drags out the last word and wrenches the door open, letting light flood in. ''I wouldn't tempt me, ryliee. I know more about you then you think." With those parting words, she flounce off.
