"You know, Hope got an 100 on her global history test..." I say to Klaus as I pour myself a cup of coffee.
"That is because I helped her study." Klaus says to me with a smirk playing on his lips. I scold Klaus with my eyes as I let out a sigh.
"Klaus! I told you not to help her study, she knows that you are 1,000 years and she takes full advantage of that when doing school work!" I say as I sit on the counter, setting my cup of coffee down next to me.
"Penelope you know I can't say no to her. I can't say no to either of them, it's my biggest downfall!" Klaus says as he comes over and rests his hands on my waist. I smile at him and rest my hands on his neck.
"Can you say no to me?" I ask him as I raise an eyebrow.
"Absolutely not, my love." Klaus says as he leans in and presses his lips to mine. I smile against his lips as I begin to wrap my legs around his waist.
"MOMMM!" Hope's voice screams as I hear her footsteps come down the stairs. Klaus and I release from our kiss and look at each other.
"Saved by the scream." I say as I let out a deep exhale.
"DAD!" Hope screams as she comes into the kitchen, Faith trailing behind her.
"Bloody hell Hope! You do realize everyone can hear you even when you are not screaming?" Klaus says to her, his hands rested on the sides of my thighs. I lay my eyes upon my sixteen year old daughter who is standing there fuming. Hope has long brown curls and these bright blue eyes, she looks exactly like me, while Faith looks exactly like Klaus, she resembles Rebekah as well, except she has my hazel eyes.
"Please tell Faith to stay out of my things! She took my favorite shirt and then spilled her orange nail polish all over it! How does someone even do that?" Hope says extremely angry.
"It was an accident!" Faith interjects.
"You know that it wasn't an accident! You always ruin my clothes so I can't look hot in them!" Hope retorts to Faith, looking down at her fourteen year old sister.
"Woah! No one in this house is going to look hot in anything!" Klaus says looking at our girls and putting his hands up.
"Mom, please give Faith a punishment she deserves!" Hope says as she crosses her arms over her chest.
"I'm sorry that I like your clothes Hope!" Faith says annoyed at Hope.
"It's not my fault that you look dad!" Hope yells back at Faith.
"Hurtful..." Klaus says as he places his hand on his heart.
"Alright! That is enough!" I roar at my daughters as I hop off of the counter. They look at me wide eyed. "Hope Miranda, it is just a shirt for God's sake! The lord knows that you have a million of them! Now, Faith, please ask your sister before you borrow her things from now on.. Do you two understand that?" I ask them sternly.
"Yes Mom..." Faith says almost ashamed of herself. Hope crosses her arms over her chest and rolls her eyes.
"Hope, do you understand your mother?" Klaus asks Hope, his voice stern like mine.
"Yes Mom..." Hope breathes out unhappily.
"Good... Now, please go upstairs and behave." I say sending my daughters away. They go upstairs and I look at Klaus. "That girl is hell on wheels... I think she gets that from you..." I say to Klaus rolling my eyes. "And our good little Faith inherited everything from me.." I say giving him a small smile. Klaus let's out a little laugh.
