Marriage Contract

River

What!? That guy jumped into the river from this height! No way! Omigosh! I have to help him.

Running, and stumbling down the stairs, I frantically ran to the river, and started looking for him.

The river is high, and the current is strong, from the heavy rain, that occured yesterday.

Has he already swept...? Is he swimming? No way!

Just then, I heard the sound of splashing water, like someone is trying to swim.

Is that him!?

Alexis:"Are you okay!? I-I'll help you! "

I saw his shadow in the river, and jumped in with my othes still on.

However the water was flowing faster, that I thought, and it was very deep.

I tried to swim closer, but my body wouldn't move, how I wanted it, all I could think of was trying to help you.

I tried to shout in unison, "Are you okay!?" But water rushed into my mouth.

Oh no... At this rate, I'm going to---

???:"Hey... HEY!!!

As I sunk into the murky water, I though a hand was reacnhing out toward me.

I quickly grabbed it, in hope this is not a, hallution.

I felt something, cold, and soft touched my lips.

That sensation repeated over, and over I could feel my conciousness slowly returning.

Ow... My body doesn't feel good, it hurts.

???:"Are you okay...? Are you ALIVE?! "
Alexis:"Ugh... Ugh... *cough*. "

Something came out of my mouth while I was coughing.

I realized it was only water.

???:"Whew... You must be fine, if you were able to cough up water, sheesh... What did you think your doing? Jumping into a river like that? "

All I could do was stare at him in a daze.

His strong eyes was looking at me, anxiously.

Suddenly I realized where I was, I could see the river, that I jumped into not too long ago.

I was lying down on some concrete ground, and I noticed that my shirt was partly unbottoned.
