Hurting

We had a quiet chuckle as Junta made a weird face at us, then... Ryou's cell phone began ringing.

Ryou:"Who could it be so late at night?"
Alexis:"Is it from work?"

But when he looked at the display, and his expression froze, Then he stared at the phone with answering... Then he stood up.

Ryou:".... Sorry."
Alexis:".... Its okay."

I stared at Ryou's back as he walked toward a hallway with his phone in hand, I felt like crying, judging from is expression... I guessed it was Krissy.

Junta:"Alexis, what would you like to drink next?"
Alexis:"Well... Uhmm... I'll take whatever you suggest."
Junta:"Roger that... Are you his girlfriend?"
Alexis:"Oh, uhmmm... Yes."
Junta:"Are you guys having problems?"
Alexis:"What, no way..."

The whole time I was talking, I couldnt help, but think about Ryou, who dissapeared at the back...

Junta:"Have you been with Ryou for long?"
Alexis:"No... Not that long."
Junta:"I see... That guy... He likes to bottle his feelings up inside."

Junta looked in the direction Ryou went with a worried expression.

Junta:"He was like that when he was working here without consulting anybody, he decided to take care of his little brother."
Alexis:"... I know what you mean..."
Junta:"Right? You're his girl afterall... All I wanted to do with him, was being there for him."

I couldnt help, but smile ambiguously, I want to help Ryou too, but I didnt know of he wanted it or not.

Alexis:"Excuse me for a second."

I got up to go to the restroom, unfortunately, the restroom was in the same direction Ryou dissapeared too.

He's been on the phone for 30 minutes he must be talking to Krissy.

Alexis:"What should I do...? I cant just get up and leave..."

As I pondered, I heard a voice from around the corner, Ryou was standing in a poorly lit part of the bar.

Ryou:"Please.. Dont cry.."

He had a dark and painful expression on his face that it looked as if he would burst into tears any moment.

I has accidentaly stumbled upon Ryou speaking on the phone.

Ryou:"Dont cry."

As he said 'Dont cry', he looks like as of he is on the vergw of crying himself, Krissy might be in pain now... But he seems to be the one hurting the most.

Ryou:"... If we see each other now, and if your father finds out about it, we'll be in trouble again..... I know, but."

I know its bad to eavesdrop, but my legs wouldnt let me move, it was if I was being kept there, by his face and voice.

A while later, he hung up the phone with sadness all written over his or not? By any chance... Would it be because of me?

Alexis:"Ryou..."
Ryou:"A-Alexis, were you listening?"
Alexis:"... Im sorry, was it Krissy?"
Ryou:"Yes, it was."
Alexis:"You should... Go and ee her..."
Ryou:"...Alexis?" He made an expression like he was completely surprised.

I dont know whether this is the right thing to do, or not... But..

Ryou:"... A-are you sure?"
Alexis:"I-I dont want to see you sad, besides didnt I say you could do as you please?"
Ryou:"Alexis... Sorry... Wait for me... I'll be home."

Thinking about how he must have felt, I smiled without even nodding.

Alexis:"Bye..."
Ryou:"Sorry... I-I'll be back."

All I could do was see him off...
