Chapter 15 (The Kiss)

After cleaning up the basement I went back upstairs and found the girls sitting at the kitchen bar drinking bottled water and looked at me as I shut the basement door and came over to sit with them and lit up a cigarette.

"What all do you guys what for dinner?" I asked.

"Are you cooking?" Lila asked.

"Yea, I guess so since Connor is staying for dinner." I said puffing on my cigarette.

"I don't know fix your famous spaghetti with onions and mushrooms as well as your garlic cheese bread." Lila said as I noticed Tabby looking down as if something was bothering her.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I'm allergic to mushrooms." Tabby said.

"That's alright I always make two different type of spaghetti sauce, I don't like the onions, mushrooms or peppers in my spaghetti." I said as she smiled.

"Alright." Tabby said.

"So, what do you want for dessert?" I asked looking at them both.

"Make your white chocolate brownie pudding cake." Lila said as I saw Tabby nod.

"That's sounds really good." Tabby said.

"Alright white chocolate brownie pudding cake it is." I said as I turned to the fridge and pulled out the ingredients that I needed to make the cake since it took longer to fix and stay in the fridge.

I made the cake mix first I put a shot of vanilla liquor in the cake mix and then put it in the electric beater and let it spin for a few seconds, then I put it in my two cake pans then I made my white chocolate brownie mix and put it in a separate pan and stuck that into the over as well and put the stove on 350.

"Do you need help cooking?" Tabby asked still sitting in the kitchen with me.

"No thank you, I got it, you go and enjoy watching the movies, I'll be fine." I said as she nodded and went back upstairs with Lila to finish watching the movies.

After Tabby and Lila was gone I went to my pocket book and pulled out my Ipod and placed it into my beats by dre. speakers and jammed out while I cooked. I put all of my 80's music on shuffle like Alice Cooper, Billy Idol, C.C.R, Pat Benatar, Cyndi Lauper, Joan Jett, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin and well as Def Leppard.

(Too Late for Love by Def Leppard) was playing full blast when Eric and Connor came into the kitchen to tell me that they where back with the washer and dryer. I was in the middle of chopping up the onions and my eyes were watering when I turned to them.

"Oh shit what's wrong who died?" Eric asked running up to me.

"What are you talking about?" I asked whipping my eyes with the back of my hand.

"Your crying." Eric said.

"I'm chopping up onions Eric." I said as Connor started to laugh, which made me turn to him and smile. His laughter made me happy. I loved the sound he made. I loved his voice, I loved his smile. I loved everything about him. "How about you two come in here and drink a beer with me, looks like you guys need it." I added turning away from him and going to the fridge to pull out 3 beers and twisted the cap off since I wasn't wearing my belt that could pop the top off. Then handed them a beer.

"Soo...what are you cooking for dinner?" Eric asked.

"Lila wanted me to make my famous Spaghetti and my garlic cheese bread so I guess that's what i'm making." I said.
