Chapter 11 (The plan)

Once Tabby and I got out and locked up the car I turned and noticed my sister eyeing me and then Tabby noticing her lip as well. I looked at her and shook my head to tell her not now was a good idea to asked questions and see nodded as if she understood.

After a few moments of standing outside we headed for the college doors as the bell ring the first time. The first time bell ring meant to gather your things and come inside for your class. The second bell meant for you to get your ass in class or you was tardy. We where all in Mrs. Connways class and seated before the second bell.

Mrs. Connway walked around the class room to look over everyone's chapters they were on since everyone was working by then. Then she came to our row she looked over Eric's, Lila's and Tabby's work then stopped at mine.

"Wow Bobby you are already on Chapter 20 that's impressive dear." Mrs. Connway said smiling at me.

"Thank you, would you like to have Chapters 1-19 to check to see if I done everything right?" I asked as she nodded.

"That would be lovely." Mrs. Connway said as I handed her my binder that I kept all of my Math stuff that I had finished.

"The work book pages are in the back, I like copying the problems on notebook paper so I can work out the problems." I said letting her know.

"Alright dear. I'll have this graded by the time you come back in from break." Mrs. Connway said smiling at me and walked back to her desk to get started on my work.

"Chapter 20 hu?" Lila asked.

"Yep, I worked on it more last night." I said. "I want to hurry and nip it in the butt, since I don't really like Math." I added.

"You know you will be finished by the way your going in 4 weeks since there is 100 chapters in each book and we have and there is 3 months is a Semester. "Lila said. "What are you going to do with the rest of the time?" Lila asked.

"I don't know." I said as I went back to work.

I got through Chapter's 20-23 by the time the bell rung for first break. When the bell rung we went outside to our usual spot and took out our cigarettes then I pulled out my cell phone to call Mom to see how her first day had been so far.

"Hello?" Mom asked on the second ring.

"Hi Mommy." I said smiling since I loved her soft velvety voice.

"Hi sweetie, how has your day been so far?" Mom asked. "You haven't got into any fights yet have you?" Mom asked.

"No, Mom." I said laughing. "And my day has been good so far." I added.

"That's good sweetie." Mom said.

"Hey Tabby is going to stay with us for the weekend is that ok?" I asked.

"Umm...yea I guess so what does her parents say?" Mom asked.

"Mom, she's our age it's not like she's a minor, she don't need their permission, plus her uncle wont be back for a while he's a truck driver." I said.

"Oh, ok honey." Mom said.

"So is it ok if she stays with us?" I asked.

"Yea it's fine with me." Mom said.

"Alright, oh and how has your first day been at your new job?" I asked as I took a puff of my cigarette while waiting on her response.

"Good so far. Look honey I wish I could talk right now but I got to get back to work." Mom said.
