"Ah, sh*t! " what part of not like you would she not understand!? And coming to ruin it all for me! The one thing I can finally say is that

She has broken that shell, I don't know how she did it but m, she just did.

I was slowly getting her to say more to me apart from few syllables huh! F**k! She's mad at me, don't want to talk to me, don't want to look at me that's too much and I can't handle that because the feeling has gotten deep, heck! I sound like a love sick teenage boy

And now she doesn't want me, what hurts the most is the love that has grown in my heart for her, I need her I want her why?

Because She has become my Kryptonite.

It angered me when I tried to talk to her and explain she didn't want to even say a word all she muttered out was ' take me home please ' I was the cause of her tears.

She didn't even second glance back when I dropped her off that's cold right? No woman had done that to me before but coming from her, I would say that it had made an impact.

I might as well take that trip and let her be for a while, as she doesn't want to here me out and so may it be. I drove back to the penthouse, packed my bag grabbed the keys and walked out

" Matt your off for a couple of days " he looked confused like what's going on

" but Boss, I was on holiday and just got back but.... "

" consider yourself lucky then " he didn't argue further, left it at that and nodded. Got in the car and drove off to the airport.

At the Doctor's Office

" have a sit Mr Carter " Doc tells me I didn't know how to ask this

" now Doc you said something about her getting a blood transfusion, how's that going to work? " I ask

" I have done tests on her and it has showed me that she's a AB positive, so in order for the blood transfusion to work she needs that same positive blood type " he explained, I ran my fingers through my hair deep in thought how?

" Mr Carter are you alright? It shouldn't be a problem I am sure that your daughter should .... "

" Doc the situation here is that my blood won't work on her system " he looked at me confused waiting on me to continue

" she's your daughter why wouldn't it be? " I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply

" Doc, I am a AB negative, she's both positive and I am A negative B negative " he frowned

" that can't be, she should have inherited one from you Mr Carter and the other from her mother " I ran down my hands on my face

" because Doc Roseni is not my biological daughter, the one you saw out there is ..... " he just stared

" ..... that is why I am frustrated and tired because I don't know what to do " I let out a sob

" then we should go see a doctor and talk with him about the possibilities " smiling dearly, my wife's a French born citizen. We met at a bus-stop one day she was rushing for an job interview she had and I happened to be the assistant of that particular company that she was heading to, from there things escalated.

" we're planning on having kids Doc and we're here to know about the possibilities " Marie Claire smile, I was so in love with her she was a kindhearted women, elegant, calm and she really knew how to handle the cuisine

" we will do some test and it should be out within 4 days, from the test we should know the results " thanking him then we left.

Couple of days later, we received the results and the doctor gave it us reading from it we were very disappointed, finding out that my wife is barren it had me in tears. She spent days without eating, she took it hard.

I had decided for us to travel out for few days just to refresh our mind and all. While on holiday she suggested adopting

" Cheri, why don't we adopt a child since I can't conceive " I thought of it and I knew it would make her happy so, I accepted.

We went to the orphanage, looking at the children there, the first one we saw it was her. The little girl brought light into my wife's eyes that looked dull, she was beautiful beyond all with light brown hair, beautiful eyes and she at that instant moment became our bundle of joy her name was Roseni Silva. We signed adoption papers and everything and decided to leave the name as it was, because we wanted her to have something from her origin which was Brazilians and gave her my last name Carter

" alright, so no one in your household has the same blood type as her? " I shook my head and spare a glance at the clock 40 minutes left, I shed a tear. He patted me on my shoulder

" be strong Mr Carter ..... Let me see if there's anything that I can do " I nodded and just pray to God that she will be fine. I watched him going through files after files he stopped at a particular one, then took the phone and made a call. It rang several times no answer and soon went into voice mail
